"I unfortunately did not have a good experience at brunch Sunday. The management only hired one waiter and one busboy for the restaurant during peak brunch hours and they were clearly overwhelmed. The service was subpar not due to their performance but due to the poor management not knowing when their restaurant is actually busy.The drinks took about an hour to come out after we sat down. The drinks themselves were pretty good in comparison. It was just coffee and bellini, nothing complicated.I ordered an omelette that took even longer to come out. It was overcooked and hard. It had hair on it (pictured). The waiter took the dish back and gave me $1.50 off. Normally when you have hair show up in your food you would get a new dish or the item comped. Taking off $1.50 just made the experience worse on top of the service.For that experience, I had to pay 20% gratuity (included in the bill) and then are asked to tip even more on the receipt. The management seriously needs to reconsider how they staff this place and treat situations where there is hair in the food."

"Was able to reserve a table day of for a late lunch. They will reserve parties of 5 or more tou just have to call in. Service was on point. Dinner bread is served with a sweet onion oil which is so good that it should be sold to go. We had everything from pasta to steak. All dishes were full of flavor. The steaks are extremely tender and highly recommended! Love the atmosphere the restaurant used to be First National Bank."

"Was born and raised in Grand rapids. Moved away several years ago. Had the opportunity to come back. I look forward to a Vitale's Pizza. What I had was not a Vitale's Pizza. I've had better Frozen pizzas than that. Absolutely no cheese. The crust was something I've never experienced on a supposed Pizza place. Pizza service sucked would not recommend this place. It's just nothing more than a glorified franchise with a whole bunch of TVs"

"I've dine at this restaurant many times and the food is great. However, if you plan to dine during the day, it's best to come during lunch period 12pm-2pm or after 3:30pm. It seems the times prior the staff goes on break. I've come in and find no one in the dining area. I think it's a little short staff at times but the staff that does notice me are attentive. The food is great and the waitress was very attentive to meeting my special requests. I will always come and dine. It's a great place to eat."

"This was a unique experience for us. The service from our waitstaff was excellent, but we felt like we waited longer than usual between courses and for water and drink refills. The food was well-prepared, but lacked flavor/spice. Even though it was good, we expected it to be more flavorful. We mentioned it was a special birthday celebration (noted upon arrival and reservation), but we were overlooked while the table next to us was being celebrated. Overall, it was a enjoyable new experience, but not one that compels us to return right away."

"Our family had a beautiful experience in the mill. The staff was welcoming and very nice. We enjoyed dinner on the terrace as the sun provided warm lighting in the evening. The children enjoyed their chicken fingers and burgers each while I had the smokehouse half rack baby back ribs. The design of beer selection was manifold enough for most people. The chocolate mousse was pretty good for Dessert. I'd go back."

"I felt like family here, even though I'd never been here and it was exactly what I was looking for! I had my 2 daughters, my 3 nieces, my brother and sister in law and my husband. We were seated promptly and comfortably, even without a reservation. We were never ever rushed! At no point did they make us feel like we were a hassle or taking up space. It was comfortable, the food was incredible! The server was the best, and the staff worked well together. The restrooms were easily accessible and clean. The atmosphere and ambience were light and airy and wonderful. Everyone was attentive, kind and I would recommend this place again and again!"

"We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant tonight due to understaffing. We had to wait a long time for our meals, desserts, and coffee. My mocha was actually a latte and had to be re-made. We also received the wrong bottle of wine, but didn't realize until halfway through and found it surprisingly good. The dish of fetters with shrimp and tomato sauce was lacking in taste, with small bland tomatoes. However, the Lachs was delicious. Overall, while the intentions of the restaurant seemed good, the service and communication were lacking."
