"I was visiting from out of town and not familiar with this place, which is apparently a local favorite. I noticed it from my room at the Hamilton Hotel across the street and was drawn to their festive holiday decorations (it was Christmas time) and the bustling crowd of people entering and leaving. The brunch was absolutely fantastic! It was delicious and there was plenty of food. The atmosphere was lively and celebratory (though the music was a bit loud) and all of the staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. Since it was Christmas Eve, I would like to give a special shout out to our server Nyala and the hostess Kara at the front. I was so impressed with the restaurant that I made a point to meet one of the owners, Mark, and express my happiness and gratitude. Whenever I am in DC, this will definitely be my go-to brunch spot. While I'm sure it is also great for happy hour and dinner, the crowd tends to be younger (millennials and Gen Z) while I myself am a baby boomer."
