My friend and I are new to Portland/Beaverton from the Middle West. We tried this place for our jubilee dinner in March and have always returned! I'm half an Italian and I'm so far away from the family, I'm getting homeaches for the savoured Italian food. I don't really like mushrooms, but her mushroom marinara tastes the next to my grandma sauce every restaurant I've ever tried. When we went for our anniversary, I dressed up in a dress and heels and it wasn't strange, but definitely a casual, family-style place. I have seen a family or a couple who every time I celebrate an event or an opportunity here? ve away, so it is good if you want a quick bite or a nice dinner. My friend loved the chicken parmesan and gets it every time and I tried a few different vegetarian options and really loved it. It is a good atmosphere with really friendly and friendly staff. We never had a bad experience or bad meal from here and their staff always makes us so welcome. This is probably one of my favorite places we have found since the move to Portland and always curse a look at Heimweh. For groups you can usually expect to spend $15-20 per person if you are not with wine and appetizers and about $25-30 if you are. Take out is simple and does not take very long unless they are busy. About 30-40 minutes during the ride on a Saturday night, so if you? re ordering take out and in a rush, order before the time."
