"The folks who run this restaurant are so great, and their prices are very reasonable. They have super tasty fries, and they are my favorite place to get a salad. My kids love the pizza it's actually their favorite takeout pizza. Sandwiches are very good too. It's not fancy, but overall there is something great for everyone at a great price with excellent service."

"Had take out from The Plum Tomato last night. LOVED it!! Tried three things. 1. Chicken Parm with linguine. Chicken was fresh, not over breaded and moist. Tomato sauce was refreshing and vibrant (not overly canned from what I could tell). Pasta perfectly done. Saving the best for last... best mozzarella cheese I had in some time. 2. Cheese pizza. Same great fresh sauce and cheese as above. Nice crust that reminded me of my favorite NY Style pizza!! 3. Side Salad (that you could order with a meal). I was less impressed with this. I was excited to see on their menu that their salads had mixed green and nice veggies which I was really looking forward too. But it was a bit bland and not what I expected. This was a side salad and not 'a salad meal/entree ' so not sure if they are different. I love salad and wanted more then the regular 'pizza joint ' iceburg pile. SUMMARY: They are now one of my go to places. I encourage everyone to give them a try and make sure they stay Open and in Marlborough!!"

"Nice quiet neighborhood Italian restaurant. Excellent service and very large portions. The side of spaghetti with sauce was big enough for a duck! We had two chicken breeders and both were delicious."

"Ordered the chicken parm sandwich. It was frozen chicken nuggets fried in week old oil that's been used for fish, shrimp and calamari all week! I was almost able to choke down half before completely losing my appetite! I also got lentil soup but don't have the appetite to eat it now. Hopefully it will taste better than the sandwich later!"

"Great friendly service, great owner gave me and my friends shirts with logo. My day! Use back 82 to eat on one in the 7th Broadway brought back great memories. Back to GA, with the only regret that I don't have it there to share with my wife."

"pizza and wing ordered. hangs down that was some of the best pizza and wings I ever had and I grew up in very demanding new york lol. I really ate this last night and they were the first to show up on the grubhub. completely blown away as good it was. eating was hot, quickly arrived and is cheap.5/5 stars. incredible!"

"Best Philly in sf. Seriously good Philly for a pizza place. Pizza is good. Everything's pretty cheap for downtown. When come back to San Francisco hopefully this place is still open cuz I'll be getting a PhillyFood: 5/5"

"Very impressed with Umbria. The pizza is great and the service is even better. I have a severe dairy allergy and the person who took my phone call this evening knew exactly what had dairy and what didn?t. This is very hard to come by, especially with pizza. They have vegan options too! I had the Montreal special pizza and it was GREAT. The crust is fantastic and everything just was so tasty. They didn?t cut my pizza because they didn?t want to cross contaminate, which was awesome. These guys were great, the pizza was very yummy and we will be back!! So many fun different options to try too!"

"love this place! Everything from the decor to the fantastic organic Italian wines to the incredible organic food was spot on. Also outside patio dog friendly. I love the vegetable pizza. It's the best I ever had anywhere, near and far. The hoppy hour (happy hour is amazing!! Sunday 3-6 awesome live music, 1/2 off craft beer. The owner is so sweet. Alexander made me feel like I was in Italy... Now I want to go to Italy! Lol. 5 star sure! GREAT organic food/ clean/and friendly customer service! Thank you Alexander for opening your location!:"

"Staff was really friendly and open to questions. Pizza was heavy and could have been cooked longer. Would try again if in the area but not a destination pizza place for me. It does reheat well. Don't expect much if you are dining outside at the picnic tables they do not have disposable tableware. Our dog was with us but they were not overly dog friendly. They do have a cute photo opp. @Avalanche we did ask for if there were Paper plates but there were just napkins. We asked if we could have and disposable cup or bowl for our dog but there were none available. Later we were able to use an empty cup from a drink and ask for water from your sink though. Thanks!"

"I have been going here for close to 4 years and have never once had a problem. The family that owns the restaurant is super nice and I love supporting them just on that fact alone. Regardless, their pizzas are delicious. I can't give my opinion on anything else, because I am a creature of habit. Their pizzas are a bit on the pricier side, but you definitely get what you pay for. Can't say enough just how much I love their pizza and service!"
