"The food here is consistently good and we order much of it to take home. We had cauliflower, a mixed salad, wings, garlic bread and two pizzas. I always give it a 4, but remember that it's a pizza place; it's not the same as a 4 at a Michelin restaurant. Service is almost always superb."

"We loved Strano when it was in Cooper Young. It seems to have changed a lot and we were willing to give it a go in it's new location. We had tried it out when it first reopened and were not impressed, so we were somewhat reluctant, but nevertheless curious to see if it had gotten any better. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. The restaurant is indeed classier and the location is fabulous. the service was spot-on and the noise level tolerable. But...the food? Isn't that what is supposed to be the attraction? We were both disappointed and gave it a "meh" rating. My husband had the chicken caneloni and said that it was mushy and unappealing. There was too much sauce. I had the chicken picatta, which I was really anticipating. My high hopes were dashed once I tasted the chicken. I have never had chicken picatta with so much breading. It was like having a fried chicken cutlet with capers. The linguine was over-cooked and the sauce was dull. The price is right, but the dish is not. All I could taste was the breading and the chicken was dry instead of moist like I expected. I scooped up the capers to try and get some flavor, but it just wasn't there. It was a two-fer for us. We won't be going back and that make me sad"

"Beautiful and spacious interior, good for a family night out or a romantic couples evening. Service is excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. The pizza were pretty good. Their signature deep dish was bursting with flavor, their cornmeal crust almost like a crunchy cornbread biscuit. The thin crust chicken pesto was a bit disappointing in comparison. Pretty decent, especially the pesto, but the chicken a little dry and the crust a little overbaked. Overall a good experience for both lunch and dinner."

"Celebrated my husband’s birthday dinner and Josh made it such a beautiful experience for us and our two sons! We enjoyed a pitcher of Sangria which was made perfect, 2 orders of lobster baked macaroni, spicy beef cannolis and primavera pasta. 3 orders of red velvet cake and a slice of pecan cheesecake. I have been to their Winthrop location great friendly service and food, what can I say thanks for having a location in here in Lawrence. There is no other place to go to bit Nicks Place their menue covers it all and everything is fresh and has very reasonable price$. I will not be going anywhere else! "Stopped by this awesome homey restaurant in a huge car rest stop near Exit 34 of CA 60 E Pomona Freeway and IT WAS FANTASTIC. I got a full rest refueled myself with yummy Italian dishes, while my car was parked in a tree shaded spot which there are many! This place serves really nice Italian cuisine with European pub vibes atmosphere inside (I LOVE THIS FEELING SINCE WALKING IN OMG) Lovely music, partitioned seatings, dim lighting, great food smell, wine shelf, vintage restroom, etc.. Here are the cheat sheet if you are blank of what to order: starter cheesy garlic bread: perfect seasoning, crispy thin crust main low cal salmon: juicy tender salmon with nicely grilled veggies chicken masala: my favorite pasta OMG lasagna: soft properly cooked cheesy side (comes with main) Julie's wedding soup: delicious soup with a lot of ingredients salad (ranch, Italian dressing): fresh mix of your favorites drink Italian soda: carbonated creamy very yummm The staff here are all really nice and made me feel at home. "pizza was the only good one. we arrived at 8:15 a.m., they told us that the kitchen would close in 15 minutes, so we all had to insert our food at once, so that we feel very hastily. we chose this place because they had up to 10 reservations on open table, so we knew that we would not appear last minute and had time to eat. when I told the manager, just to avoid others coming up and not being served by the kitchen, the manager said well, the kitchen has to go home. it is and east in open table, but they seemed of the question and the inconvenience that it is hospitable to appear and feel hastened and unpleasant. the kitchen staff sat there and stared at us all the time when we were decided and ordered, and when our food came out, they left."

"that was my fourth time to eat in the chocolate bar. I had a good experience before this. this experience was less than ideal. there was a big party that was so loud. the party laughed and screamed, and we couldn't hear ourselves at our table. we had to drive to the opposite side of the restaurant. they were in this special night out of mt. dew, which is only a small inconvenience. but the restaurant has only pepsi products. So, if you think that pepsi is terrible, like most people, then you understand the inconvenience that it is from mt. dew."

"This place is CLOSED! I made a reservation for dinner with colleagues. I even received the request via text to confirm the reservation. When we showed up there was a sign saying closed. I approached a hotel staff member that was working in the lobby bar inquiring about it. She said it’s been closed for TWO YEARS! I explained that I made a reservation through open table. She said that happens all the time and they do not know how to shut it down! Extremely disappointed. Hopefully an open table team member will see this!"
