"Two stars for the nice outdoor space and all the lovely plants they have got. Other than that, the food was below average. I have been raised as a vegetarian, and can cook fairly well. It is not so hard to cook vegetarian food which also tastes good. I have a huge problem with vegetarian food that has to look like meat....why??!! But that's another story. We were a group of four and ordered a few things from the menu, but none of us liked the food at all. No flavor, taste, presentation etc. PS: first restaurant where you need to pay for rice, that should come with a main dish. Too cheap for such a pricey food."

"Came in today July 17 at 9:00 pm and the girl who is a host works there told me to “leave” because they were closing early. I asked why and she said it was because she was feeling “sick” When I pressed why she closed the store a full hour early she raised her voice and gave me an attitude.She was not “sick” and was obviously lying just because she wanted to go home.She just wasn’t trying to do her job.Regardless, if she was “sick” she had zero authority to shut the place down a full 1 hour early.I asked to speak to the manager team and she said “she’s on vacation” I asked “So who runs this place?” And she pointed to the chefs in the back who speak no English, using them as scapegoats.I will file a complaint with the management team.What a horrible experience."

"Ate here last night food and service were great!! We ate on their little patio outside. The service was great. We were able to make a reservation. The servers were very friendly and made some recommendations. On a Saturday night they had $1 tacos and since it was the weekend, we were also able to order Banh Beo. I've had Banh Beo at other restaurants. It's not usually something I am a big fan of, but they are very good here! There was a lot of flavor, a good amount of toppings that tasted fresh and gave it good texture. The rice cake itself had good texture but was also soft. It was excellent. I would come back here just for this dish. Other dishes: Tacos these were yummy! recommend to add a bit of the taco sauce to them. Spicy Salt chicken wings I eat a lot of hong kong style chinese food so we eat a lot of spicy salt chicken wings. These were great. nice crunch on the outside, good spicy salt flavor Bun Bo Hue when I had my first taste of this I thought the broth was a little light in flavor. But my second service was toward the bottom half and we realized we should've mixed it more before serving it up. The broth was very good and they serve a really good amount of meat with it. OG Ruckster Burrito I'm usually a bit leery of fusion food but this burrito was excellent. A lot of thoughtfulness in the layering. I really liked the rice in this burrito. Spicy Shrimp Basil Fried Rice I love fried rice but with everything else we ordered I thought this might be too much food it was but our server recommended it. This was SO GOOD! Probably one of my favorite fried rice's I've had in a while. We ordered it at level 2. I generally like spicy and this was a nice heat level. You could feel the spiciness but it wasn't overwhelming. The basil flavor really came through. The shrimp was not the star of this dish. But this fried rice was excellent. Highly recommend. Service was fantastic. There seemed to be a good amount of take out pick ups."

"The ambiance was lovely, but unfortunately, there weren't many vegetarian or vegan options available. The drinks were decent. I might consider giving it another try since I've heard they've expanded their menu. Hopefully, this includes more vegetarian and vegan choices."

"I visited this location for the first time and heard amazing reviews from people in the area. Upon visiting we ordered 2 of the small phos with oxtails and the crab ragoons. The presentation was amazing the ragoons were the best! Here comes the pho as myself and my friend begin to eat the pho it tastes amazing, eagerly we add our hot oil all of our extras and begin to eat. As my friend starts to lift her noodles a hair appears she quietly removes it and placed it on the side of her plate. I flag the waiter down to ask him if every thing was made in the same dish as we could always switch our options and select something else, at this time he said he would find out. He came back to the table stated because we had began eating that there is not anything he could do. Now I amNot asking for everything to be comped however the plate that was contaminated by human hair could have been compensated at the least. We did not even make it to half of our food being eaten before we left. The waiter explained that there was nothing he could do and was apologetic, I can understand policy. However I can’t fathom how someone is expected to pay for something they didn’t receive or order fulfilled."

"This place has made its way to become one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Brooklyn, or NYC in general. This mostly attributed to the taste. The bún thịt nướng (lemongrass pork bowl) was very flavorful, especially the beef; the mixing sauce added a nice sweet and salty palate. The oysters were good but not very memorable. The phở bowl was great flavor-wise but not sure why no Vietnamese restaurant in America like to use the authentic pho noodles in their pho bowl. The bánh tráng trộn (rice paper salad) hits all the right notes of an authentic one. They also sell bánh chưng (Chung cake) during lunar new year, which is a plus. The cakes are quite small with little fillings but hey, this is the best you can get in NY. Restaurant is always busy so best to have a reservation. Price was quite expensive for the portion. Service was good."

"My family and I came to this restaurant for a reunion, despite its high rating on Yelp. Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed. As Vietnamese, we did not have high expectations for the food to be authentic and amazing, but the poor customer service was the most disturbing aspect of our experience. Despite being one of only three tables in the restaurant on a weekday night, we felt neglected and had to wait a long time for anything we needed. The food was average at best and overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. Although we ordered eight dishes to share among eight people, most of us left still feeling hungry. Ultimately, we decided to pay the bill and find another restaurant to eat at. I do not recommend this place and hope they can improve their customer service and food quality if they want to succeed."
