"Extremely disappointed by Kona Grill. We ordered two main salads and one sushi roll (3 people). Both salads were simply made with about 2-3 cups lettuce and about 1/4 c. Total other ingredients. My salad didn’t even look like a chopped salad. When we questioned the waitress-she acted like we were bothering her. She actually acted like waiting on us was an issue. We had said we were celebrating someone’s birthday in our reservation, and no one even mentioned it or asked if we wanted to order a dessert. I will not be returning. For the price of salads, definitely not up to par. Not a good lunch or experience. Would not recommend."

"Had A 9 pm reservation. Got sat at 915. Ordered quickly after. 2 burgers and the sliders (3 of us). Keep it simple. Put in the order at 920. Didn’t get the food til 10:50/1055pm. More than an hour and a half later. We stayed and waited because we almost wanted to see how ridiculous it got after each minute passed. My dad’s Girlfriend on her way back from the restroom was told by an employee that 4 people called in. One walked out and that the manager left one hour before that. What ?!?!?!?!?! Not one single time did I see a manager come to a table and apologize for the wait we weren’t offered a couple of complimentary desserts or nothing! We don’t care about discounts or anything free. It’s the fact that no one there who was a manager came to any of the tables and kept it honest with us. A manager at the Host Stand should’ve told the employees To tell the customers before they get seated to expect food to take 1hr to 1 and a half hours. BEFORE YOU SEAT THEM!!! Then those who want to wait will stay. Others will leave instead. You HAVE TO STOP THE BLEEDING on a sinking ship. You have to know when to stop reservations or walk-ins. You knew by 830/845 it was gunna be a tough ending and that’s when y’all should’ve stopped everything and stop taking more reservations. But no. You all got greedy and just kept taking as many people as possible. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE!!!! In addition to all this the restaurant was a Complete Dump. It was filthy. It was disgusting and VERY DIRTY!!!"

"Food came out cold after sitting under the warmer for aboutb10 minutes, the food was remade to still be cold. The potatoes were stale and not fresh, the hollandaise was very thin. Overall, did not eat the food and left after the manager stared at me and tried convincing me the food was fresh and hot. It was not hot at all, cold and partial poached eggs are a disaster waiting to happen. The waitress was super sweet and tried to do her best in the moment."

"We really do not like the electronic tablets at the table. First our tablet had the wrong bill, it was another tables bill, we could tell by the amount. Then our bill would not allow us to apply a rewards free appetizer, you could only sign up as a new account. Then, it charged us $2.99 for Games, we didn 't even play any games on the tablet device. Finally, there was an issue with our bill where I ordered the Pad Thai entree and they charged me the full price for a salad, even though a side salad was supposed to be $5. I tried to have it corrected, and it took about 30 minutes for them to come out and fix it. At that point, I didn 't even want to mention the Games charge of $2.99. If this place removes those electronic tablets, I think it would probably have enjoyed the whole experience a lot more."

"My colleagues and I went to Kona Grill for dinner. We TRULY enjoyed our experience. Our server name was John he was the absolute best! He was so kind, courteous, pleasant and very timely with refills and checking on us to see how we were doing. The food was absolutely delicious! The chefs took their time preparing each and every item we got. Presentation was very good as well. I will be returning to Kona Grill for sure. I am so glad we went there. "Fantastic place for group dining/business dinner. Great veggies, cheese, fresh fish, meats, pasta, condiments. Both the pasta pizza are great. Super fresh and light. The octopus salad was delightful. Can’t wait until I return. Top notch Italian steakhouse and more. Everyone of our group of 10 really enjoyed the meal. One standout was the chicken parm pizza that we ordered for the table. Excellent wine list both broad and deep, including some affordable options"

"Love this place. We were on the LiE and needed a small bite. Looked for a place close to 495. KK is 3 blocks from the highway. And I promise it has what you want to eat: pizza, sushi, roasted veg, 4 kinds of soup, pasta, meatballs, salads, every sando on earth, and much more. Vast counter cases contain a cornucopia of choices. You point, you get, you eat. No wait staff. Just what we wanted. Oh, everything was delizioso and fresh as hades."

"Craving some sushi, this is a good place to try. I got spring egg rolls for starter, which wasn’t as crunchy as I would have liked them. Then for sushi we got the fire tornado which I really enjoyed due to the flavor and the spiciness. We also tried the Honolulu Sunset, it had more of a coconut very light taste. This place doesn’t have many tables to seat people, I think I counted maybe 8 tables. So I wouldn’t recommend big groups unless you decide to reserve first."

"We had a wonderful dinner at Hamilton's before the Live performance of Hamilton in Dallas, so it seemed pretty perfect. My Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were just like velvet! My husband had the shrimp and grits which he thoroughly enjoyed as well."

"Yes, it is a Sushi restaurant and I had a cheeseburger with mushrooms. Really enjoyed the waffle fries too! Delicious! Service was fast and friendly! The menu has many sushi choices. Check out the menu online!! I noticed some neighborhood people arriving and they ordered sushi, so that’s a good sign. (I could tell by their conversation with staff that they were regulars) There are about 8-10 tables, kind of a small place, but comfortable. I made reservations on-LINE BECAUSE I needed to leave by a certain time to attend a program at the STAN MANSION. It is only 1-2 blocks away. Only had to park once."

"Birthday celebration for my 25. Birthday! Kona has always been a local clamp in my area and this has such a great ambience and friendly staff. I enjoyed a dinner with my partner and had a wonderful celebration with the service of Jenna and great managerial participation. They sang and made a performance that makes it an unforgettable experience. To complete it, we stayed until Happy Hour and they have the best price sushi and drinks for promotion. Very recommended!"

"In response to the Kristina S. and Ali S's review: A few weeks ago, I was enjoying one of the many delicious meals I have had at this lovely family owned business with my 7 year old daughter when I noticed the teenage waitress taking multiple calls from the same person. From the waitresses response it was clear the person asked to speak to the owner, who the waitress explained was not in but that she would take a message. They kept calling back and harassing this young girl who was maturely explaining that she would pass along their message. I could hear them on the other line at this point threatening the waitress saying they would leave bad google reviews if the owner did not call them right away. I am very sorry these ladies did not enjoy their food and did not wish to pay $2 for an item they wished to add to their order but you are not entitled to continually contact a business when they?ve answered you. You are not entitled to be contacted immediately and you are not entitled to harass a place of business. My 7 year old and I were embarrassed by your behavior toward the young lady. Clearly you did not enjoy your experience, so don?t go back. I am happy to go there instead and enjoy the delicious meals I always have that are homemade and fresh. Grecian Corner is not only our favorite place to go, but we use them for catering as well. Bravo to the young lady for enduring bad behavior from adults and bravo to GCC for keeping up with a high quality standard. Support your local businesses, people!"
