"UPDATE: We returned this evening to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. Dinner was sooo excellent. I had, get this, the 4-cheese ravioli with beef tenderloin tips and it was awesome. Paired that with a Victory Golden Monkey Ale and a few sips of my wife’s Hayes Valley Cab Sav. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees as well. Also, Kiera our excellent waitperson, took care of us and kept us happy throughout our meal. Highly recommended! Original review: Huge family party that took up way too much time and space but Katherine and the EATaliano crew were awesome and took care of us anyway. I mean, isn’t that what Italian food is all about anyway… bringing together the family? We had family members from 18 to 89 and everyone was well-fed, well-served, and happy. I had the house special salad which was excellent and the Lasagne Bolognese, which was excellent as well. Highly recommended. Note: I always initially rate an Italian restaurant on how their house meat-based lasagne tastes first. My thought is that if they can’t do that right, the rest will be questionable too. Their’s was highly desirable and I will be back."

"I was in Brooklyn for a conference and decided to work from my company's office there for the day. During lunchtime, a coworker recommended a new restaurant they had found. The food was absolutely fantastic! Although I've never been to Italy, I imagine this is what real Italian food tastes like - nothing like Olive Garden. My only issue was the price, particularly for a lunch meal, but I suppose that's typical for New York. I will definitely return if I find myself in the area again."

"We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but our latest trip was extremely unpleasant. Surprisingly for August in Atlanta, it was bitter cold in the restaurant, and the ceiling fans were set to hurricane level. Several people dining near us left mid-meal and returned with jackets. The ambient noise alone made it nearly impossible to have a conversation; once it was combined with the blaring trumpets of the (non-Italian) big band music being blasted, there was no hope. The food ranged from bland to odd-tasting. The chef is apparently averse to seasoning, and the front-of-house staff do their part by hiding the salt and pepper. Some of the food seems somehow designed to reject any flavor you attempt to add to it. It didn’t really affect our experience, but the kitchen staff spent an unusual amount of time either in the rest rooms or sitting in the area outside of them scrolling on their phones. On the positive side, our waitress was very charming, and the wine was good."
