"Maybe we should have paid attention to their website or these reviews... So many folks recommended this place while we were cycling as THE place if you 're vegan that we went without doing any homework. Our expectations were very high and therefore it was disappointing. First of all we didn 't realize it wasn 't a sit-down restaurant. I 'd describe it as a bakery with take out food. There 's a skinny counter inside to sit at and picnic tables outside. Depending on time of day could be buggy. It was for us around 5:30. OH...and they close at 6:30. As with anything else in a tourist area it was expensive and there were long waits since they do make everything from scratch. I think vegetarians will do better. My husband wanted a burger. The only one that came close to vegan was the Quinoa one which we thought would be vegan but had egg in it. We 're not always super strict so he had that. They failed to adhere to his request to leave off the mayo. I ordered 2 sides with a protein. I got Brussels sprouts, sweet potato wedges and coconut tofu. Both veggies were under cooked and disappointing. The serving sizes were huge and since we 're bike touring we had no use for leftovers. So wasted food. As someone else said, any (or most) baked goods that were vegan were ALSO GF. Why do folks do that? GF folks don 't like being forced to be vegan any more than we like their grainy substitutions! We cheated and had a non-vegan chocolate chip cookie that was excellent. As my title says, it 's not bad. So if you in with more accurate expectations I think you 'll like it. Allow plenty of time. In fact, call ahead and you 'll be better off."
