"Bagel was frozen par-baked so not the same as having one fresh. Staff were grumpy albeit busy. Cream cheese was nice but after telling the guy I wanted Salmon on it twice, I just got a cream cheese bagel. Didn’t live up to the hype for me. I’m sure it can be better service but you can’t get around the fact the bagels aren’t boiled and baked fresh like pop-up bagels for example."

"The food we ordered from Menagerie is always delicious. Menagerie also has great customer service. For Passover they allowed us to adapt some of the specials they offer without hesitation. In addition, a new Sunday when they were only open after agreement, I called in the morning to ask if they could quickly create a plaque to comfort someone who was trusted what they did quickly. I will continue to order from Menagerie and very glad that they are in our neighborhood!"

"Terrible service. It's always slow and chaotic, even when there are just three customers in the store—no one seems to know who ordered what. The bagels are overpriced and taste stale, similar to something you’d find at Starbucks."

"I stop there on my way to work a few times a week. I walk in the door and they already know my order. Their bagels are great and their scallion and lox cream cheese is the best I ever had."

"Murray’s Sturgeon Shop feels like I walked into 1955. The guys behind the counter are so sweet. I love when a place with so much history keeps their interior as it was with all of its charm. I had the spinach, egg—I think jalepeno was in there as well—on a bialy. They told me they don’t toast the bialys either and I kind of liked that they said it kindly and it was still really good."
