"We were staying in The Domain for our wedding weekend and needed a place to have our rehearsal dinner the night before. I emailed Theresa and she immediately got back to me; super happy to accommodate us. My brother lives in Austin and highly recommended Salvation Pizza. Theresa scheduled a call with us and we planned out a few appetizers, salads and pizzas for our guests. The night of the dinner, we arrived and Jess, our server, immediately took us to our table and started drinks. Our apps were out when we received our drinks! We had the best evening--great drinks, service and food. Jess and Theresa worked so hard to make us feel welcome and relaxed during, what could have been, a stressful night. Thank you Theresa, Jess, and everyone who made our rehearsal dinner so easy and totally delicious! All of our guests raved over the food and excellent service! We will be back and cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you!"

"What a wonderful meal. This is a nicer steakhouse for sure. The meal started off with out hostess Jocelyn greeting us and made us feel right at home. She kept drinks full and checked on us frequently. The fried onions were thin and crispy, delicious. Our steaks arrived in a very timely manner, mine not quite cooked to my order, but that was rectified quickly and without hesitation. The rest of our order was perfect. It was very busy while we were here, Friday night around 630, but you never would have known it by how smooth everything ran. I'm so glad we chose Salt Grass this evening. You have a new family for life."

"Us brothers came from all over the states Michigan, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Florida and Dallas texas to spend time with with each other catching up. "Had a Great lunch today for mothers day. The wait wasn't too long and we didn't even have to wait the estimated time, they were quick. Our server was Netti and she was wonderful. She was friendly and the service was perfect. We ordered appetizers and they were hot and tasty. Everything was timed perfectly and was so delicious. Netti was busy but she was amazing and took care of all her tables without any problems. We had ordered food to take home and Netti timed it to perfection. "Our experience started out great but right before our meal came out we were forced to move tables into a crowed dining room because a private party was coming in and they apparently took priority over us.Then when my steak came out it was under cooked.The manager simply shrugged his shoulders and said they shouldn't have sat us there and walked away.The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the server was attentive and the restaurant was clean."

"We had been to Salt Grass when they opened and really didn’t have an opinion. Had eaten at a location in Texas and enjoyed that experience. We went to the bar for a drink and was warmly greeted by Clint at the bar. He made us feel welcome. Drinks were expertly made and appetizer very good. Our chop steak was cooked to ourmedium rare request. We will return and hope Clint will be there. Food very good, salad fresh and steak a potato really good"

"Revision: GM reached out to me to make it right and comped our meal. We went tonight and had an amazing dinner. The food was excellent, the service was on point, and both my wife and I had a great time! Thank you, Lee!Ordered a plain nashville chicken sandwich. I said No coleslaw, no pickles, no toppings. PLAIN SANDWICH written exactly like that. I also got fries and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was soaked in coleslaw as well as the fries. The fries werent even hot and soggy. They were cold, stale, and soggy. Quite possibly the worst experience ive had in a long time. What a let-down."

"We had dinner here the day before yesterday while visiting the Riverwalk.I have to say, the steaks were as good as I've ever had in a restaurant. The whole table really enjoyed their meals ribs, kabobs and streaks were all excellent.The atmosphere was also enjoyable (as with most of the Riverwalk restaurants). Staff was very pleasant and friendly despite the huge crowds in the area for the holiday weekend.Price wise our visit was very good value $160 or so tip and bar in for 5, which was a bargain considering the quality of food and service. I love this place."

"My daughter, grandson and I went to the Saltgrass for a relaxing lunch. My daughter ordered the salmon oscar with the brussels sprouts and a caesar salad. I had the salmon oscar, steamed vegetables and a garden salad with blue cheese dressing. I love the blue cheese dressing at the Saltgrass! The little grandson had macaroni and cheese as well as shared our salmon. We had a wonderful waitress. And, there were several other waitresses who stopped by our table to see the cute grandson who is 11 months old. I would highly recommend visiting the Amarillo Saltgrass!"

"Looking forward to meeting with friends to celebrate a birthday, and enjoying a meal out. I ordered Chicken Fried Chicken and salad. Salad was great along with loaf of bread. First bite of chicken tasted very spicy/hot. Flagged down waitress saying I could not eat it as it was too spicy. She talked to the kitchen staff. I was then told they dipped it in the wrong coating. I was offered another try, to which I said ok. Of course my friends were eating while I waited on my reordered entree. It finally arrived. The waitress asked me to cut into it. Turns out it was a Chicken Fried Steak, not chicken. I told her to just forget a 3rd try. You would have thought I would have been given a gift card or a credit for my drink. But alas, only got an I'm sorry Will not be going back!!"

"After 3 solid days in the French Quarter, we ate Steak and a restaurant that you could enjoy during dinner with your friends. The shrimps were far over boiled (they have removed the cost), steaks were okay (for the price I prefer a little better cooking season), potatoes were okay... after my eating mats the fried mushrooms were great (I don't enjoy a mushroom). "Amazing service and our steaks were perfectly cooked on request. Our waiter had come to the point and checked us regularly that our drinks were full. It was pretty busy waiting for an hour and still had a great service. We had a table of seven with small children and they enjoyed the bread and nachos while we waited for our food. Our first time here from Texas and we recommend the steaks here."
