"This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. I'm usually into more high end places like cowfish in north hills or midtown however the staff and service in this restaurant has sold me completely numerous times. I'm usually a 3-4 star reviewer, however when you have 3 or 4 members of the staff coming up to you looking at you, welcoming you, and greeting you its hard to give it 4 stars. The food is absolutely amazing hands down the best Mexican restaurant. If anything they should raise their prices by $2 on menu items because I'm getting wayyy to much bang for my buck! If anyone wants to see photos or personal references of how exceptionally Superlative this establishment is please contact me directly or better yet come meet me for lunch so that I can have the privilage of enjoying this delectable Coco-Bongo experience with me. "Apart from the location everything was perfect about this restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant from the Kurb appeal to the unique anaesthetic appearance is definitely a look at what you will encounter inside. The steak fajita enchiladas were perfectly seasoned with a consistency in texture and Gravy sauce, which was delightful. The meat was tender and juicy and the salsas were delicious. The service was attentive and the restaurant was clean. Perfect place for a nice dinner night, whether on a date or just to hang with friends and a drink at their bar. I think I'll make the next visit. Enjoy!"

"Last minute don’t decision and it was great. We ordered supreme chicken enchiladas and carnitas tacos.. best carnitas I’ve had in a long time. Our waitress was lovely.. I can’t remember her name but she was very pleasant to talk to and she interacted great with our son. We sat outside and it was perfect weather for outdoor seating/dining noise level was at a minimum even with live music inside."

"I love the relaxed feel of this place, the only problem is parking in downtown Ellicott City. However there is a small parking lot for the La Palapa. The food was excellent.. We will definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, The waitress suggested a draft beer that was fantastic."

"We had a late dinner here recently. I had not been here for years but my experiences had always been great. The menu is a bit eclectic with duck taquitos and other interesting choices. Chips and salsa are both fresh and delicious. I had the blackened ahi tuna tacos. The portion sizes are huge and incredibly flavorful. However, later that evening I did not feel well and experienced nausea and gastrointestinal problems over the next day. This meal was the only possible source of the problem as I had not eaten during the day except for some beverages. It put me off my meal experience here. We'll try it again someday but I'll be more cautious about what I order."

"Tonight, I have to say that I was very disappointed with Xcaret. I have dined here multiple times and always recommended this place to family, friends, and colleagues when they visit the city. The manager, Fernando, on the right side, claimed to be the manager of the establishment and was also our server. I don't even know where to begin. First, we waited for over 15 minutes to be seated. I went to the restroom and saw him texting, not realizing he was our server. We started with margaritas and I requested a glass of water. My aunt and I ordered mango margaritas, which were bland and lacked color. Then I ordered chicken with flour tortillas. The bread and bell peppers came out first, but no tortillas. Not a big deal, but after another 15 minutes, I saw our manager/waiter outside on his phone. I politely told him I didn't want to eat anymore because it was cold. He offered to remake it, but I declined as we had already waited a long time. Seeing our manager/waiter visit a neighboring table three times while ignoring us was very disappointing. In the meantime, the other members of my party had not received their food. After about another 15 minutes, Fernando came to ask if I needed a takeout box. I reiterated that I hadn't touched my food. He agreed to clear the table but insisted on leaving the margarita because "nothing was wrong with it." When I questioned how he knew without checking, he became defensive. The most disappointing part of my visit was his rude and dismissive attitude. As we expressed our dissatisfaction, he simply said, "It will be better in the future." Sadly, if he is actually the manager and represents the other managers at Xcaret, this restaurant may soon join the list of failed establishments in the downtown area of Winston-Salem."

"We love San Tan. The food is great and my husband likes the beer. I have 2 warnings... 1) they only serve their vodka now so keep in mind. I don't like it that I can't enjoy an adult drink there anymore and 2) it's LOUD, as not planning, a conversation there... "I went there for the first time on Memorial Day after enjoying a tour of the USS Milwaukee that was docked at Homeport. "I rate this restaurant 5 stars, not only because the food was excellent, but also due to the outstanding customer service. Our waiter was incredibly professional and made my wife and me feel very welcomed. I’ve never been much of a drinker, but after he described how delicious the drinks were, I decided to try one. I went for the mango margarita on the rocks, and I must admit, it was fantastic. The highlight was watching him prepare the margaritas—we were curious if he had any secret recipes, but it turns out he didn't. I ended up ordering five of them! The waiter was genuinely a wonderful person, and I can confidently say that today was a perfect day to dine at this restaurant. If the owner happens to read this, know that you have an exceptional waiter on your team, and we will definitely return for more of his excellent service."
