"Pricey, very pricey. Very limited and small menu with limited choices. Calamari were a bit undercooked. Not overly flavorful on their own, but the marinara was very good. I asked for tartar sauce but it did not taste at all Like tartar sauce but more of an aioli. Clam chowder was delicious and house made with huge pieces of clams. Wonderful. The mussels pot and the seafood medley pot were less stunning than described. No wine flavor whatsoever but it did have a little of a lemon flavor. The bay's seasoning was the most prevalent flavor and it was ok but not what should have been the star here. The seafood was all perfectly cooked despite it all. The seafood gumbo was bland and nondescript. I've had better at Cajun restaurants so stick to buying it there. The salads were best and fresh and the dressing were all some of the best flavored dressings we have had in a long time. The key lime pie was disappointing however, due to a preponderance of crust and graham cracker meal literally all over it. Too much crust and the pie was coated on top with it as well. As for the pie filling, it was too little and was more of an accent and not the primary flavor. The flavor was good however, and it would have been a much better dessert in the end if the filling took the prominence in the pie. Too bad. I do believe this restaurant needs some work on their menu selections and pricing per portion size if it is to be a must eat at location. Season and flavor needs to be a focus as well."

"My friend and I decided to check Sail Loft last night after the line was out of the door at Fay's restaurant and are we glad that we did it? As self-proclaimed food YESSSS. At first we waited for a while for a table, but I don't take any points from the review because the staff can't just get the people off to make room. We decided to order drinks while we wait, the drinks were great, strong and well mixed. I'm a Margarita snob and my drink was ON POINT. When we sat for dinner, we ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos. First, the part was massive. Impressive. It was hot hot hot, the cheese was melted and delicious, but the actual art of this dish is how well cooked the pig was, it was soft and well marinated. My important other hat BBQ sauce and he rave over how big the sauce was on this appetizer. For dinner we order the baked Mac and cheese with Lobster and the Smothered Steak Frites. At first, every bite of Mac and cheese Lobster had in it. The butter Lobster and the phenomenal cheese sauce that must be made in the house because it is too good to be packed, along with the bread crumb was above the top and WELL WORTH the price. The crushed steakfries, oh men, my friend is a sticker for properly cooked meat and he was head over hell for this dish, the meat was again tenderly marinated and the sauce divine. The truffles are crying, only heavenly. He said to me, I can never fries a different way.. so crispy and seasoned to perfection. Also the portions were worth MASSIVE and the money. We left both with food to go home and look forward to enjoying again. Our main courses were simply amazing. To dessert we have the chocolate cake, ice cream and coffee. I never order dessert when we go to dinner because I'm a snob over cake, but the chocolate cake was moist, good with the vanilla ice cream and just overall very pleasant. At the end of the night we were full, happy and excited to have found a new facility that we again often found. We look forward to Taco Tuesday. I have no idea what you're paying your chefs, but you should pay them more. The kitchen is divine and contemporary. The waiting staff was very sweet, always smiling and had a great demon among them. Excellent place to dine."
