"We usually go to North Beach for Italian but had a show at SF Playhouse and wanted something a little closer. Serafina is truly a neighborhood gem by all accounts, in a lovely North Nob Hill location (seriously, a wonderful location). We mostly had the specials seafood pasta and fettuccine with meat sauce. Delicious! Dessert was chocolate cream puffs with dark chocolate sauce and an espresso ice cream dish fabulous. Wine recommendation was Italian, from Montepulciano great recommendation and not overpriced. We will be back always great to find an escape location with great food and atmosphere!"
