"BLACK PEOPLE BE AWARE!So, here 's my experience. Not having many days off, me and a friend started our day early and planned to enjoy an early lunch at this restaurant. After shopping in the phenomenal Hillcrest area, we arrive at Aladin at 1100 am pst. We arrive a little early because this restaurant opened at 1130. So we visited Trader Joes. At 1135, we returned, and a staff member, Lopita, promptly seated us because we were the only customers. Lopita began sweeping the outside seating area. After 15 minutes past, my friend and I looked around for a waitress . Behind the glass, Jordan, the waitress looked at us never greeted us or came to take our order. During this time, a white female came into the restaurant, and then Jordan came from behind th glass to greet this customer. I watched and listened to their conversation. The white female said, Seatinfg for one. I need to use the restroom, I 'll be right back. The customer swiftly went through the door to the back area restroom. Jordan turned around a proceeded to get a bottle of water and a glass. Thinking it was for our table , it was not. Instead , Jordan walked over to give the water and glass to the white woman. I immediately addressed this blatant activity and told her that the customer should not receive the water or anything else for that matter before our table. Jordan finally approached our table, and I asked her, Why did you not come to give our table a greeting, water, or take our order. Jordan replied, because she told me what she wanted. I told her to stop with that matter of bull. She then admitted she understood my comment and she gets it. I can take your order and did you want water? I said no, and we left feeling offended and frustrated. This was tangible evidence of her bias/racist ways. CAMIELLE DO BETTER WHEN YOU HIRE YOUR STAFF BLACK PEOPLE THIS IS A SMALL VERSION OF MY TRUE EXPERIENCE...GO ELSE WHERE!"

"We were in town for our sons closing from Navy Boot Camp. We.got checked the city to the hotel and needed to find a place to eat food failure near the Marine Station. We were looking for Pub Grub and found this place after. do some search online. The people there were super cool for us when we set ourselves and we felt like at home. I have a beer from a local brewery on Hahn, I wish I could remember what it was, but it was good, my wife got some wine, which was good for her. We ordered the cheese curds app, they were delicious. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich w/provolone Pommes, my wife ordered a Greek salad. My wife enjoyed her salad and took at least half back to the room. I never had an Italian beef sandwich, but I knew what they were. It was a really good sandwich. Her Giardiniera was on the side, but had exactly the right amount of spices that it went great on the sandwich. I'd definitely eat that again. We were for their trivia and won a round and got a free breakfast. On Saturday our son is basically delivered in the middle of the night and our trip was in the afternoon, so we went back and had breakfast. When we arrived, the staff remembered us and made us feel like regular. I have a **** Mary who came with a little beer hater, my wife got a mimose. we enjoyed both drinks. My wife has the French toast. They were both very good. The staff and the people there were really super cool for us and we felt at a place where we were going. If we ever.back in the area we will return."

"I 've been here twice with another person, once when it was crowded and another time when we were the only ones there. They have three specials this month (which were the same as last month 's... , and I tried all three. (Pictures are posted Service: I 've never seen the waiters talk that much. However, they 're always dressed nicely and professional in how they take orders and bring food out/away. They refill water regularly. Food speed: both times I 've gone, I thought the food took longer than it should have to come out. It seems that this is a popular place to order takeout, which would explain the delays. However, they may be understaffed in their kitchen. Who knows. Food price: I think even for Seattle and the quality of the food, this place is kind of expensive. Their main dishes are $12+ but the portions aren 't very big. They are filling though, especially if you get rice on the side (which is $2 for a bowl . Lunch/early dinner for 2 cost $40 for two main dishes, rice, and tea. They do have a slight lunch discount. However, their lunch times aren 't advertised and dinner starts as early as 3 PM. Food quality: the presentation and somewhat small sizes of dishes for the price really does make you think this is 'fine dining ' as they advertise. The tastiness of the food is probably the strongest point at this place. I don 't eat much Thai food, but I haven 't had anything I didn 't like here. It 's all tasty. Ambience: lighting is warm but not super bright and there are a lot of window seats. There is no outdoor seating. The interior decorations are tasteful and rather sparse, but they do have a small side room for parties, I 'm guessing, and a centerpiece Thai deity(? statue. It 's a cool place. Food rec: pad prik king is the best if you like Szechuan peppercorn (which is definitely present in the dish but not overpowering . The avocado curry and som thai gai-yang are also very good!"
