"We had plans to visit another restaurant but, unusually, they were closed. We already paid for parking and Pizza Capri was across the street. Decent rating, food looked good, Italian… When we entered, the manager, Uriah, was addressing a group ahead of us. When he finished, we spoke up to be seated. He was irate, loud and disrespectful. Mind you, our group consisted of two women 60+, myself, and my two children. We’d never dined here before. I would have quickly taken my business elsewhere, given ALL the restaurants in the area with comparable and better ratings. However, one in my party was very hungry tired so we stayed. The server was okay but the food was bland and basic at best. Gratuity was added to our bill of 5. Maybe that’s the standard in the area but I don’t approve. I would never return to Pizza Capri Hyde Park and absolutely don’t recommend."
