"GeJo's Italian is a hidden gem that serves great Italian food with friendly service. We happened upon GeJo's while driving down the street and decided to give it a try. We tried the homemade egg noodles with meatballs and I was supper excited to find a restaurant serving up these home made noodles. The homemade noodles have a heartier texture to them and are thicker than a traditional spaghetti. The meatball was excellent with a great texture, flavor and size.With our pasta we also got two side salads and it made a perfect meal. The side salads were done right with a nice combination of vegetables and the dressing was served on the side. We also do not want to forget giving a shout out to the garlic knots which were soft and covered with a generous portion of garlic butter. Some of the best garlic knots I have had in Denver.Out waiter was very friendly and helpful. We learned about the history of GeJo's, which is a great history. They were also attentive to the weather as we were sitting outside. A storm started to blow in so the shut down the sides of the outdoor eating section. In Colorado fashion the storm moved through quickly and they reopened the sides as soon as the wind had passed."
