"This is not the place to eat what your favorite Italian recipe is; it is the place to try new things and discover what scratch-prepared Italian cuisine should be. We passed several times before we took the fall about a year ago and now it will be a habit. The hour-long journey from home is always worth it. We had different servers and always have a great experience. Darla has served us a few times, even today, and is always knowledgeable about the menu and helpful suggestive. One and only. Great atmosphere. Great food."

"Tonight was my first experience at this location. I was served a burnt pizza. When I called to inform them of the burnt pizza they kept me on hold. I called back and they put me on hold immediately as they answered the phone. I went back to the location with the pizza. I didn't want my money back I wanted another pizza. The kitchen was closed. The manager offered me a complimentary free pizza which was appreciated but then he proceeded to walk off. I had to ask him about the refund for the burnt pizza, which he did give as well. He never apologized for the inconvenience as if I was in the wrong. As a result, I will not patronize this location again."

"Loved everything about it! From the decor to the fresh pasta and pizza. The zucchini chips were thin crispy and plenty of salt just how I like it. The famous eggplant parm app was well balanced and full of flavor. The special of ravioli and risotto were spot on delicious. The gnocchi was exactly what I traveled to Brooklyn for a fresh simple gnocchi, still don't understand why everyone doesn't make fresh gnocchi!! Last but not least the pizza which took a little to long to come out was just great! Note pretty cool to have a kosher dairy place with a nice full bar in back that one would actually want to see at to eat and drink!"
