"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"Big filled Calamari, it's a hard dish to find, but they know what they're doing. It reminded me when my father was still alive to make the sauce all day and then add the Kalamade. We live in oak lawn and DEFINITELY worth the ride...."

"It was good, not great. I was looking forward to branzino, but the menu offered a filet, not the whole fish, which I enjoy. I had the eggplant parm instead, and it was okay, but not remarkable. Both ladies ordered a bowtie pasta dish with chicken and mushrooms. Also, okay, however the chicken was sparse. The other gentleman had the fish trio. He enjoyed 2 of the three, with the sea bass being the least favorite. This is a restaurant hiding in a catering hall, hiding in a commercial area."

"We have been going here for many years when we go to CA . It has been a favorite but we haven’t been back for a couple of years. It seems the food has gone downhill . My wife had the risotto which tasted like rice a Toni. The Veal chop I had was very expensive and like rubber. We will not be coming back."

"One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Excellent service, absolutely delicious food with great menu options and VERY reasonable cost (considering what I have paid in the past for a meal for 5 in Manhattan for this middle class family man). I could not thank our Waiter or the Maitre D' enough, who both graciously passed our praise onto the Manager and Chef. My family and I have walked in off the street into restaurants, cafes, bistros and the like for years during our forays into The City from Long Island and this is the FIRST place for which we would gladly go out of our way to visit again."

"The people who rate this place poorly are crazy. It doesn’t have “good ambiance”?? It’s a pizza frozen yogurt shop! Not gentile enough on the phone when they’re in rush-hour? It’s a take-out pizza shop! They make great very cheap pizza frozen yoghurt. It’s a pizza froyo shop! What else do you want? I call them, they always tell me it will be 15-20 minutes, and it is. I’ve ordered a hundred times and they may have forgotten a single topping once. Cant believe this place is rated 3.9. It beats the pizza of a place rated 4.8 easy. They’ve got a dead-A consistent schedule and they always meet their “it will be ready in 15 minute” estimates. 8 years I’ve been going here and they still deliver exactly what I’m looking for when I call — good pizza."

"I have been going to this Ristorante for over 30 years. I have always rated it very well and did so again, but this time as a 4 rather than the customary 5. Service was rated 4 instead of 5 because the server we had, and had rated a 5 before, was simply overworked and slipped up on some relatively minor things. They need to hire her some help. Also, while generally quiet, there was a lady sitting behind us with a continuously very loud voice which was irritating. Nonetheless, we had a generally pleasant experience and will definitely return."

"I hadn?t been in a number of years, my recollection was good not great. However I?ve been twice in about the past six weeks and it has been excellent. Everyone is friendly and having a good time, and the fried whitefish in sage butter over risotto is stellar. Homemade bread to boot. Definitely going to start coming here with some frequency!"

"I have dined here many times and this is my first disappointing visit. The atmosphere and service were outstanding. This time, however, the food was disappointing. The mussels and clams appetizer was excellent, but the chicken Caesar salad my date ordered was pathetic in portion size and presentation. My braciolle and tagliatelle dish was unimpressive in looks and taste. The meat was extremely dry. The sauce was thick and lacked any real flavor. I’m not sure what happened this night, but it was a first date and left me feeling like I made a poor choice for it."

"Jaime turned out to be very pleasant as a representative of the place. We ordered a few dishes and were not disappointed with our order. 3 Ceviche Mixto, which meant seafood variety and no fish. Everyone liked it, not perfect, think, but surely fresh and beautiful portion. 2 Tamales Peruvian style with pork, and very pleasant plus beautiful size. On the Argentine side of the menu we ordered 2 breast chicken with rice, beautifully marinated and easy to eat. Many items in the menu piqued our curiosity, but there was enough for the four of us. The place also offers sorted treats that I have a few that are very nice for dessert. Cuts about $18 a piece that seems the current price these days. Tamal $9 per? The chicken plate at $15. Overall, we felt well treated and liked their food, from Argentina and Peru under a roof (in alphabetical order), and we met a few beautiful Argentine ladies who made waiting for our out much more beautiful. A total of $106, but order was plentiful with salsa and bread. Four stars."

"My husband and I go to Forks 2-3 times a year to visit family and we always stay a few day's and one of those day's we always eat at Pacific Pizza. My husband isn't a pizza person but He loves their Spaghetti and Meatballs and I have Alway's very much enjoyed their pizza so for a meal out it is a win, win. However, this last weekend we were up for a visit and went to Pacific Pizza for dinner. We walked in to order and were the only one's at the order counter but lots of dirty tables so you could see they had been busy. We were told that it would be a 45 minute wait to get our dinner and agreed we were willing to wait so we ordered our meal's and found a clean table to wait. They did have a lot of people in and out picking up Togo orders from call in's. About 40 minutes into our wait, I went outside to take a call and while on the phone I saw the waitress drop food at our table, I ended the call and went in and my husband had gotten his food, so I figured mine was soon to come so I told him to go head and eat. After 30 more minutes and my husband pretty much done with his meal I went up and inquired about my pizza. The Girl was pretty rude to me while I explained my husband and I had agreed to the 45-minute wait but we did want to eat dinner together and we were now over an hour and 15 minutes wait and my husband was done with his dinner and we ordered on the same ticket. She walks over to the window to the cooks grabs the old tickets and finds ours and ask's them about the pizza. They point to a pizza that was sitting up in the window shoved out of the way. She brought it over and I told her it had a single topping mine had 2 toppings so It was missing the olives. This girl took it in the back thru raw, cold black olive's and brought this cold pizza and set it on our table. I asked if there was a way to get it heated up and I was told it would be an hour wait. We took it and left. between the meal and tip we spent upwards of $50 and weren't offered any respectful Customer service at all. So disappointed."

"Ordered fried calamari and had black pasta with tiramisu for dessert. The calamaris were cooked to perfection, so crispy with soft inside. The black pasta was the highlight for me; freshly made pasta was the best I’ve had in a while and the sauce was great as well (even though my husband wasn’t a fan of the sauce.. I guess depends on the person). Tiramisu was a bit disappointing thus the 4 stars. I personally prefer the bread completely soaked in coffee but you could see the bread and didn’t seem to have much coffee. Overall, it’s made to my ‘favorite restaurants in UES’ list and would definitely go back to try more dishes. Our waitress was also great and the service was good too."

"Cute place but very loud. Make sure you ask what is in your dish when you order. I ordered a chicken dish that said nothing about pasta in the description but ended up being a bowl of pasta with a few chunks of chicken in it. We were celebrating several milestones and wanted alcoholic beverages, but the waitress had no clue what kind of mixed drinks or liquor they served. And the bar was not visible.
