"brunch review: what kind of place does not make pfannkuchen on their Sunday brunch menu? this place that has left two of us very disappointed. so they had French toast, that was, well, bizarre: flavored with cap’n crunch müsli. the lobster roll was pretty good, the avocado toast quite unimaginable – toast and avocado (with a stabbed egg as tip-o-the-hat too brunch.) the problem is that it is quite midday and not enough brunchy. should the restaurants of la jolla not have espresso machines? I think so."
