"Edge of the Woods has a wonderful selection of fresh produce and the largest vegan/vegetarian meal fixes around. The cosmetic section is full of organic, cruelty free products. The vitamin selection is overwhelmingly vast with any supplement you could wish for. There is a great selection of natural herbs, oils, self love and care products. Not to mention the book section!! I am in heaven! There is a wonderful selection of organic clothing, and the vegan/vegetarian bakery and deli is out of this world. Truly a great place!"

"We were planning to eat at Ellen's Stardust Diner but saw the line wrapped around the building and decided we were too hungry to wait. Kinda glad that happened! We walked around a few minutes and found Green Apple. We went in and looked around as they were busy but there was no line. We chose a panini sandwich from behind the counter. The Mexicano. It took a little longer then expected to get it, but they were busy and I think the guy just go overwhelmed. That being said, he was very friendly and apologized for the wait. We also got fruit from the salad/fruit bar. Decent drink selection also. Prices were average and well worth it. Check out was efficient and the ladies who rang up our order were both very friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We went upstairs to eat and it was small but had plenty of seating. There were empty tables. Our food was delicious. The sandwich was a bit spicy for us, but that was on us. We read the description and saw that it would have some spice to it. The fruit was fresh and juicy. My only complaint would be the restroom. There was only one and there was a line for it. Apparently the employees have to use the same one because one employee was in there a while. I went in right after her and there was no toilet paper. Okay. But then I went to wash my hands and there was no soap! That concerned me a bit. I pray that they have a sink downstairs to wash their hands at. We would certainly go back again. It was a bit warm upstairs but they have seating out in Times Square too and we would like to sit there next time."

"Great service and care add to the exceptional ambiance at Balthazar in SoHo, New York. Regal spot for brunch but be sure to reserve ahead of time as this restaurant fills up rapidly especially with the exorbitant foot traffic around the area. Solo diners get a complementary champagne on the house which was a nice touch and a great surprise. The bread basket was great, and the coffee exceptional as long as it is delivered hot (one of my top ups was not). The Benedict’s are exceptional with the English muffin and the Canadian bacon being very fresh. The home fries were also made from scratch and so I would recommend those as your side. A great experience for exceptional ambiance and food at this Michelin star restaurant. Sitting in the street booth and sipping champagne, I felt like a celebrity to onlookers!"

"They want to charge 2 dollars for a cup of ice that literally turns to water as you walk it to the counter asked if I could get it for 1.50 they said no went to dunkin picked up a cup of ice duble the size for just 1 dollar customer service was not up to par seeing how they handled this situation won't be giving them my business anymore."

Delicious..My husband did say the young lady (hostess) was very rude though. however the guy that made the pizza was nice. It only takes one mean person to ruin a business or review. "Don’t get me wrong these guys are very nice and they make delicious hot sandwiches! But today I was disappointed to notice one of the guys who was cleaning the counter with a dirty wash cloth and did not change his gloves as he was rushing to make my sandwich… I also seen something dark brown on my bread so I was not happy at all and did not enjoy my lunchThis is a (food Safety issue) whatever chemicals ingredients you’re using with those gloves and washcloths is going directly to our food… Guys Please please change to New gloves when dealing with customers food, We would Really Appreciate it very much"

"I was really disappointed with this restaurant. They promote themselves as vegetarian and vegan-friendly, but in reality, they use butter, milk, and eggs in almost everything. We went for breakfast and found that the only vegan options available were a heel flake and a head dish. Honestly, I can get better vegan options at a chain restaurant like IHOP, where I can order crispy fruit and heel flakes. We tried to communicate with the waiter to create a nice meal, but everything was cooked in butter. It’s frustrating that they claim to be vegan-friendly when their understanding of veganism seems limited. If they truly want to cater to vegans, they should know what being vegan means and offer real vegan options. We ended up leaving in frustration, and I still feel annoyed when I hear others talk about this place. It’s hard to believe they consider themselves vegan-friendly while using eggs, cheese, and butter."

"Consistently good food in the hot and cold bars. Pay by the weight and it's easy to get good food with lots of choices for a good price. It's also easy to get carried away and spend too much so be careful . The food tastes good though. Being able to get salmon and different meats with lots of vegetable and fruit choices is awesome. Also they have different food stations where you can get made to order sandwiches, sushi, ramen and salads. The cashiers are very nice too!"
