"Okay, first out of the food is fantastic. One of the best pizzas in the state and one of the best meatballs I had in my life. However, the reason I write this review is because of their customer service. The Hoagie’s Essex staff is always top notch, and they were always friendly and patient when I eat in the house. But after a busy and stressful day, I decided to take-out...20 minutes before it closed. I felt incredibly guilty about it (working with a service job, last-minute orders before closing on a Saturday night are the WORST), but the hostess who took my order was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They quickly turned my order (and expertly – a PERFECTLY cooked pizza) and everyone was super friendly and helpful, despite trying to sweep and close business. I'm sorry for the Ruck Order guys, but you deserved a loyal customer for life. I'm gonna have another slice now..."
