"We are long-time fans of Livia's Dish (Altea's sister location), and tried Altea's for the first time today. It was even more delicious than we expected! I had the short rib omelette, my husband had blueberry french toast, and our son had the kids' french toast. All were incredible! The service was great, and it's so awesome having great breakfast/brunch spots that also serve really good coffee! It's hard to find places that get both right. Thanks for a lovely start to our day! We'll be back soon!"

"We have reserved for 5 on Mother's Day and it was a disaster from the beginning to the end. We went in and we were not even recognized for a few minutes, although the two employees saw us (it is a small place and we were the only people who stood at the door). After a while, we see a sign in the back to put ourselves, so we did disgusting. We were around 20 minutes before someone finally came by and told us we were scanning the code and order. That was the scope of the service we have received. Food came staggered, cold and dry. had to ask for utensils and drinks that we had asked several times at the beginning before they were finally brought out. The table behind us never got her food after an hour and finally left angry. We're not difficult to ask people, but I had to leave a review. So we do not want to spend the day of our mother, very disappointed and not recommend."

"The atmosphere and menu at this restaurant are excellent. We started with the baby carrots, roasted beets, and brussel sprouts as appetizers, which were all delicious. The drinks from the bar were expertly made, and I especially enjoyed my old fashioned and its presentation. For our main courses, we tried the chickpea falafel and the shrimp enchiladas, both of which were amazing. The coconut rice served as a great side dish. Some of the dishes had a bit of heat, so make sure to inform the staff when ordering. I would definitely recommend The Junction."

"First time in this restaurant in downtown Albany NY. Only a few Italian restaurants get an evaluation of absolutely excellent, but these one nails it. Quiet, attractive environment, family property and the quality of food is excellent!! The prices are really reasonable. On street parking, but side streets offer plenty of access. "Came here for restaurant week and it was such a disappointment.the basmati rice I ordered tasted like it was wrapped in plastic, and the salmon was coated in weird egg type dish. Overall, I would spend my money elsewhere. Not worthy of participating in restaurant week. Service was also not the greatest. Had to ask multiple times for a refill on water. I also had to wait a while to get a fork when my food was replaced. Not a good experience."

"Really liked our experience here. Met a friend for breakfast. Nearby my house and the food was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. The only drawback being they were a little slow after the food came to the table. I understand they were not likely not trying to push us out the door after we were done eating because they were slow but I did try to get someone's attention for a while."

I ordered their Pancakes (served with fruits and whip cream), fresh mixed fruits and grape fruit juice. Their pancakeswere soft, fluffy and tasty. Similarly, mixed fruits and squeezed grapefruits were fresh and delightful. Server staff wasprofessional, amiable and followed health protocol. Service was fast moderately fast. I particularly like their lounge musicplaying the background as I steadily ate my breakfast. Moreover, this café has a cute full bar albeit small. Prices werereasonable for the area. Overall, I had a good breakfast and I enjoyed my experience. I recommend this café."
