"I really want to go on a rant about how amazing my experience was at Sax’s. As a Rhode Islander I’m embarrassed to say that this was my very first time at Sax’s. I’ve passed by this place and consciously known it was there for at least a decade and a half and never stopped in. Well this time I did and I don’t know what I was thinking! I ordered an extra cheese with onions and mushrooms. Man o man, is it hyperbole to say Sax’s is better than any cheesesteak I’ve ever had anywhere? Yes! The team was so homey, I felt like I was at an aunts house and hanging with my overzealous cousins who mom lets them curse. They were so much fun! Not to mention the line was out the door! On a MONDAY! Where they do that at? Run, don’t walk."

"Great food, great service! A family business with a family atmosphere. The owner, Mrs Garcia, visited our table. I bought extra Menudo to freeze and eat later. If you are in Gallup, give them an attempt, you will not be disappointed."
