"For the past 10+ years, Circa 1975 has been an absolutely necessary stop when we pass through Savannah at least once each year but often more frequently. Their pate is the best we’ve ever had outside of France! However — that all changed over this past week in Savannah. On Thursday the 8th of JAN, we made an early reservation to avoid the rush noise. Our waiter was gracious alto bearing bad news that there was no pate available nor was there a soup du jour at all. Watching the counter at the kitchen, all appeared to be extremely disorganized. but our waiter overcame his challenge gracefully. Our duck entree was not presented in a manner that was very easy to eat )as it was more like shoe leather to chew once one could even get a piece cut to bite size) and the trout special was overwhelmed by carrots. We were extremely disappointed plus we knew we already had a second reservation for our last night in Savannah (10 JAN). After all, everyone has a bad night now and again. The visit of the 8th was such a disappointment that we called four (4) times on the 10th to learn the menu options. Left a voice mail message each time as requested. No one has ever returned any calls. Thus, we cancelled our reservation! And leave this observation of extreme disappointment!!!.."
