"this visit at the location richmond hill was in order for me (I had previously been in montreal.) I didn't actually know that most of the elements on the menu were German. I wanted to order something different than the typical western restaurant...offers I chose the traditional sour wort, while k ordered the braised pork shank (also something I was intrigued) of course I also ordered a beer. I love ordering beer flights! the bierflug arrived in a few minutes after the order, but the two netzen took about 15 minutes to arrive (which felt like a long wait to the time. we had the traditional et Cetera beer flight, which contained four 12.5 cl jars of white, blond, amber and brown beer. I liked the white and blond amberbig the best. the traditional sourd had metrictwurst and frankfurter sausage, beer roast porridge bell and grilled black forest ham, served with beer-marined sour wort and kartoffeln. that was a very big and impressive part. I quickly realized that most meat in the dish was excessively salty. the grilled black forest ham was also hard to chew. I didn't like the potatoes. it was too soggy and neither soft or hard. the most important was the kartoffel so bland. I did not like this meat-centric dish that was so salty! also the braised pork shank appeared beautifully presented. it was a piece of pork braut slowly in a rich port wine sauce, served with kartoffels and seasonal vegetables. the first bite I had in a pig dog, was the fat tender part I immediately impressed. But when I had a bit after the fleshy part, I found that it was too chewing and so I was glad that I had not ordered it. the carrots were in order. at the end of the night when we wanted to get a container to take the rest to home, it took a terrible amount of time for the server to ask our and then for him to bring the container and bill. He apologized for forgetting. we answered that we were good at the moment when we were polite, but honestly it wasn't good. he had wasted our time. I liked how the take-home container made of paper (yes, friendly for the environment.) once again I thought that eating here is in order. I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. (no wonder that the 3 breweries were one of the only restaurants in the york boulevard area, without a crowd waiting for a table on Saturday night around 19 clock premier dinner. all other restaurants such as the keg, milestones, jack astors had all great line-ups."
