"We recently chose Quintessential on another friend’s recommendation for celebrating a special occasion. The staff was wonderful, as was the food. One of our out-of-town guests remarked that the kebobs were the best she had anywhere. The salmon was another big hit, its delicious flavor almost eclipsed by the scrumptious mushroom risotto served alongside. The martinis were also a big hit (in particular the chocolate). I’m so pleased this restaurant was recommended to us, and I certainly will be recommending it to others!"

"My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and we were absolutely amazed. The food, the wine and especially the people were incredible. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and nice. The employees have all signed us an anniversary card and everyone wishes us a happy anniversary. We both ordered the steak, and it was the best steak we had in the last memory. We will visit this place again and again."

"I recently had one of the most unexpectedly delightful dining experiences! Who would have thought that one of Miami's most exciting gourmet restaurants is tucked away in the suburban area of West Kendall? The service was excellent, the menu was impressive, and the food was delicious, all set in a cozy atmosphere. Starting with the homemade bread dip, we moved on to the Tuna Tartare, perfectly spiced, and then the Crabmeat Corn Soup, which was thick and brimming with fresh crabmeat—absolutely delicious! For the main course, the Rack of Lamb was not only plentiful and tasty but also so beautifully presented that I couldn’t resist taking a photo! My companions also thoroughly enjoyed their Filet Mignon and fish dishes, all generously portioned. To finish off our meal, we indulged in a delectable homemade chocolate brownie with ice cream, accompanied by a satisfying cappuccino. The only downside of our experience was that it had to come to an end! Fortunately, we plan to return to Chef Adrianne’s soon to savor more of the culinary delights crafted by their talented chefs. Bravo!"

"We called to book a reservation for Mother’s Day for outdoor seating since we had a dog tagging along. I made sure to ask if we would be able to, since it was going to rain early that day and the hostess said we would and she had put us down for the time requested. When we showed up, we were told that not only did we not have a name down, but the outside wasn’t ready for dining due to the rain earlier. Things did not start out well, but the hostess was accommodating and polite, which helped turn things around. The food was wonderful, the small plates were incredible and the drinks were well made. But the real star of the show was the bartender Lay, who had to be our impromptu server since we were being accommodated. As we were waiting outside, we saw Lay step out to go out of his way to be kind to a parent and his child and give them fries. When we went in to order, he was very attentive with our large order and even accommodated us with an off-menu drink order. He was exceptionally kind and was witty and made us laugh. He checked up on us even though we were instructed to seek him out for service. Our orders came out correct and he made sure we were all done with our small plates before getting the entrees started, so that we weren’t overwhelmed with food. Lay and team turned what would have been a disappointing experience into a great one. Also highly recommend the duck buns/gnocchi/pork belly/dumpling plates. The drinks were all killer, Lay is a rockstar"

"Had not been to this restaurant since the pandemic started. I had a reservation for mid afternoon on a Sunday. The restaurant was extremely noisy in the main dining room and I was not able to get the desired table in the side room on Union Street. The service could have been better, as the wrong dishes were initially brought to the table. Although I was celebrating my wife’s birthday, no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. Very disappointing!"

"I loved how you could see chef Martin cooking in the front section of the restaurant. Everything I ordered was absolutely exquisite. We got the crab cakes as a starter and the filet mignon with the lobster, which is the best steak I’ve ever eaten. I will most definitely be back for it again."

"Meh. Full disclosure, we were there on “Girls Night Out” in Somerville. Unplanned. The bar was busy but the restaurant was not. Our waiter did not know the menu which was not great as he told me a dish I was ordering was not spicy, and it was very spicy. Inedible for me. When asked “why didn’t you tell me so I could have switch it out?” I didn’t have the heart to tell him it was because he never came to check on us. In fairness, he took it off the bill which I appreciated. And yes we tipped on the full amount. Steak was grisly and not seasoned. Steak fries were bland. Hopefully this was just an off night. Many other choices in that hood."

"Given the Covid situation of eating in a pavilion and out of a takeout container, we thought this was one of our best meals recently. We had the baby back ribs which were excellent and the chicken shwarma salad which is very good. He setting is nice with recorded music and service attentive. Will definitely go back"

"We had so much Masala art over the years, we had them two meals for our wedding in September 2018. One was a heavier dinner with appetizers for an evening event, and another meal was a light lunch. The good people in Masala Art have nailed it! We heard nothing but compliments on both meals and are completely satisfied with their work. I got no chance to try it (what was busy getting married), but we heard the mango and roses flavored Lassi-Drinks were delicious. They also set up various food stations and recommended the promotion of the movement/movement of guests who worked great."

"Tonight was absolutely the best service I have ever received tonight. Jeremy was my server and he was absolutely awesome tonight! He was completely consistent, attentive and just an absolute joy to be in the presence of. This was the very first time I've been here, but definitely not my last. To anyone who reads this post, go and look for Jeremy, he is the best server I have ever had in my life. Thank you again Jeremy for an amazing out of this world experience. To Management, you have an awesome asset in Jeremy, he should be the example of what type of server you all want in your establishment."

"The price of brunch has more than doubled since our last time. Website still listed it as $34. It wasn't worth $90 for the food. You have added another number of food stations. Prime Rib (teough tacos (prepared in advance and some dried eggs Benedict (prepared in advance). there was an option for a “full” brunch for $34 or a lighter version with fruit and grain. The full brunch was perfect: made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles. Huge selection of pastries, fresh fruit, bread, sausage, bacon 2 types of potatoes. Hot and cold grain gourmet desserts, etc. Now your only option is a $90 less than perfect spread."

"I have eaten here three times lately, a meal that is offered to me as a gift and of course, due to COVID. What bleededed me away was the quality of the meal: it was the same as what they freshly clad out of the kitchen and put in front of me in the restaurant. The baked bride was hot, the truffle fries crispy and hot (not easy to reach as out), the Scottish salmon was hot and completely moist. Besides, I had the stabbed pear salad (not my choice, but my friends chose it) and I will never happen in the future. The pears were stabbed to perfection and the green and accompanying sauces/clothing were excellent. LOVED. The signed cheesecake filled him. I can say how I have found the SG for a few years that this is one of the best meals to be in San Diego. The meals I enjoyed here and my friend of San Luis Obispo is right at the best I had in my life."

"I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch and opted for the buffet, which exceeded my expectations for a buffet. I particularly enjoyed the chorizo empanadas, truffle mac and cheese, MRT scrambled eggs, grilled potato salad, and mixed fruit tart. While the rest of the options were fairly standard, they were still quite tasty. The service was attentive, with prompt refills on coffee and water. Although we made a reservation through OpenTable, there appeared to be no wait at all. I would definitely consider returning for brunch in the future."
