"They have a whole vegan menu of great rolls and appetizers to choose from. Some are a little bland but it's great to have options. But their service needs some work. Food is served as it's made rather than the whole table at once. I don't mind little gaps, but in my party of five, one person did not get their food until 45 minutes after all the food was served, very disappointed. However the manager was kind enough to comp it. Unfortunately this has happened a couple times for us, so likely will not come back."

"We ordered a Scallop hibachi and mahi hibachi, along with gyoza as takeout order. First, the food lasted more than an hour to be ready, and when it was time to pick up, the food was not ready yet! We waited another 20 minutes for our last article, while the 2/3 meals were packed and cold. But not a big deal. We came home and opened them, and boys are sad. Served sweet carrots, frozen veg, steamed rice, both of which looked a day old and tasted. The scallops were honestly pathetic small and the Mahi was so overdue that it was hard and hard. Again the carrots are skillful and come into a kind of glaze that does not comb with the rest of the food. The Gyoza was also hard and the skin was hard. The taste was good, but the sauces were definitely missing. Who wants to eat old rice, canned veins and hard meat for $13? Not me. Definitely not worth it. Just hold the 2nd star because I love gyoza and tasted it well despite the shy texture."

"Amazing sushi and great staff! We were here a few times, but only this week we went for everything you could eat sushi option and we were more than satisfied! If I could give the place 6 stars, I would. You have to try the Pew Pew chicken! As long as you do not make out the spices, the chicken is perfectly cooked. If you want to have everything you can eat, you need to reserve in advance, but we did it the same day (on weekday). Make sure you're hungry!"

"We were passing through St Louis and needed to eat dinner, and happened upon the website for this place. Wow, so worth the detour from our route! We had a poke bowl, Loco Moko, a side of Hawaiian fried rice and a side order of pan fried spam. The flavors instantly transported us back to Honolulu, where we spent a week in August. "Honestly, the food is okay, and the service is sufficient, SO I THOUGHT. Until I noticed that they gave me a tip without being aware. I'm sure if they do that enough times a day, that's a good bunch of money. Always check your receipt. I think this is one of the new ways people try to make extra money."

"The Fish Chips were great, super crispy and tasty. The Poke Bowl was really disappointing. The crabmeat smelled really fishy, half the bowl was lettuce, the rice wasn apos;t sushi rice so the flavor was all wrong, and there was no wasabi. The poke itself was fine, even though it wasn apos;t especially fresh. Wouldn apos;t order the poke again."

"Shorefyre is my favorite breakfast spot to meet regularly when I am in this area of Hawaii. They do things next to breakfast, but this is the time of the day I continue (I was there 3 times in the last 4 days can also go today). I'm a huge spicy **** Mary fan, and her **** Banyan is right for me. I had her pancakes, Veggie Omelett, Belgian waffle (tropical style), ultimate scramble, and two egg breakfasts and I'm never disappointed by the taste. The staff there is really cool, also treats customers very well. You can say that the cooks, waiters and bartenders enjoy working together and like their jobs haha or maybe I just catch them early enough that the tiredness of the day has not set in any way, their cheer surely adds to the atmosphere. Above all this with a solid music collection (which changes depending on the bartender in service) and it's just a great mix for a chill pot to have consistently good quality (and healthy) breakfast. I always order 2 full portions of food and 2 or more **** Banyans, so my bill is a little up there (because I basically order / eat two people value of things), but this is definitely because I order so much. You could go there with $25 or $30 (per person) and have a really good breakfast. Perhaps even less dependent on what you order. I think it was all I was talking about going back there today..."

"This new spot on Main street, right between Hill and Ashland, is a small but delightful location. It's train style, so narrow and long, but it has seating both outside on Main St, and in the back yard, or, of course, inside. Not very busy, so good for a quiet lunch away from the craziness. The staff is friendly, and the food is very tasty. I am new to this cuisine, so I was curious. Guacamole was very delicious (am always a big guacamole fan), the Miso soup was all you can expect from a good one, and their tostada w avocado and clams was really good too. Big enough portions, I got 2 meals out of my one order, which is great, if u love left overs like I do just when I miss it, I have an encore moment"
