"we were one of the towns and we look forward to seeing a local diner in the Batavia area, of course we had to try. after that we should probably not have it. the server was friendly enough, not excessively personal, but she did her job well. the eating was a chaos, my omelette was a massive drain, the thorny and paprika were not cooked (always still crispy and cool to the touch) there was a single piece of old-what boiled before an hour and kept- speck laid by the middle, which cut through it a challenge. my daughter donut holes were the color and texture of hush puppy - actually they were even too dark for that. the server took them from the bill without even asking, but they would never have made it out of the kitchen to begin with. my other daughter hashbrowns we are a strange mixture of not cooked enough - mixed with some who were way over boiled and burned. All-in-all it was a pretty disappointing brunch with my daughters. the highlight of the visit was the server, and again it was not great. Note: the floors (except the section covered in laminate) are baked in old fat, especially the baths and the front doorstep."
