"I decided to give this restaurant a try as I am a fan of Peruvian cuisine and options are limited here on Staten Island. I opted for the $25 family meal, which includes a generous portion of rice, beans, choice of maduros, tostones, yuca dish, a whole chicken, and I added an avocado salad. Overall, my family enjoyed everything except for the beans. They were kidney beans that were extremely hard, almost as if they were not cooked at all. Additionally, the bean gravy was watery. This was disappointing as the beans were a crucial part of the meal, leaving us feeling like something was missing without them alongside the rice."
