"I had the vegan burrito that was great. if it were to cut the salt in half, it would be perfect. I like to eat salty, but that was too much for me. I will make sure to tell them the next time because eating here delicious processing 09/2020 I reduced my rating from 4 to 3 stars. the reason is that there is no quality control for eating. last week, it was delicious. I ordered the tamale and the Burrito shell. in this week I have the same, but the Burrito bowl was unpredictable because of overwhelming salt. they still have the same problem a year later apparently and I forgot to ask for low salt. the tamales were all smushi and not well shaped as last time. I could give them another chance, but I won't be regular."

"The first time we went here for a Sunday buffet, it was outstanding. This time not so much, but in their defense, it was Father’s Day. I just don’t think they anticipated the amount of traffic. I had to ask on three separate trips to the buffet for biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. They were completely out of ice cream in all three machines. There were no desserts to be found. They just couldn’t keep up with the amount of people and food. On a positive note, our waitress was extremely pleasant. They tried hard, the manager kept microphone and back what more they needed to replenish. Some items were just shut not replenished. Would I go back? Yes, just not on a holiday."

"I am so happy that I found this place. In the heart of Hoboken you can find this hidden gem. I love how affordable this place is, I love how attentive and hospitable the staff are! And the food is amazing! My favorite is the grilled skirt steak with shrimp and the mango smoothie! During my first visit I had this dish with a side of maduros, rice and beans. They have an amazing garlic sauce to pair the dish with you can ask for it on the side but make sure you add lime to the steak and the garlic sauce on top of it. The second visit my sister had the chicken with shrimp and garlic sauce it was good too. And the tres leches was great as well. You must check this place out!"

"From the moment we stepped out the car service, Mayami appeared to be the best choice for a romantic, fun filled dinner in Wynwood. We came to this spot when it used to be something else but wow did the elevate this place. Service was stellar, food was incredibly tasty and the drinks were pretty and strong! We did Hookah which was awesome as well, we were also able to catch the sexy fire show. 10/10 would recommend"

"First time trying food from this place and it was not what I expected. At 11:00 am I ordered carne asada (churrasco) as they call that dish, and at 11:05 the order was ready. They definitely do not take the time to make fresh food, it takes time but to reheat the food from a day before, you can feel in the flavor and presentation that it is only reheated from a day before and the ingredients are not fresh, they gave me a lemon already in bad condition from the previous day and the flavor tastes spoiled. They should sell fresh food made the same day. I didn't like trying food from several days old."

"This is my spot! I feel like their iconic, maybe to me! What stands out are the corn shelled empanadas. They are among very few restaurants here in the city that offer it. In all 5 boroughs. I think I’ve found one food truck in Queens and another restaurant that was in Jersey. I had the lunch special which was 2 empanadas with rice and beans. One empanada was ground beef and the other was the Viagra which is a shrimp empanada. Both delicious with the green and red sauces."

The only concern we had was that we had individual checks, but the server calculated the tip on each of our tickets based on the total amount from the entire table. "Terrible service. Usually the servers here are really attentive and polite but this is the 2nd time I’ve had this waitress and have experienced terrible customer service. I had to ask multiple servers throughout my dinner for my drinks and other stuff because the waitress didn’t check in on us until we were done eating. If the gratuity is going to be automatically included in the bill then at least offer better service. The food was really good like always but I could not enjoy my dinner because I had to bother other busy servers."

Loved the ambience, the correct volume of music, the attention of the waiting staff, which showed crisp professionalism. Table nachos were warm and crisp, served with red and green salsa. The Fajitas were great, the Carne Asada was spectacular. Flan, tres leches and hazelnuts Brownies ended a great evening."

"I am sorry to give this restaurant a low rating for the food, but in my experience, the taste of the shrimp was not pleasant. There was a variation in the flavor of the shrimp, but ultimately the 6 different flavors did not have the taste of the seasonings they were cooked with. It seemed like the shrimp were pre-cooked and then simply had the seasonings added to them. This was my personal experience."
