"I had been looking forward to dining here after following them on Instagram for months. I try to save my carbs for special occasions so my boyfriend took me here for my birthday because I wouldn't shut up about how good the pasta looked. My parents are from just outside of Rome and everything on the menu felt familiar. We each ordered a salad and a pasta and contrary to some reviews it was a lot of food. I'm working on making the Vignarola salad next week for dinner! The salad with fennel and orange was my favorite, legit how my Nonnetta makes it. We had the homemade tagliatelle and the amatriciana and they were both exactly how they should be. We couldnt leave without dessert and I had been craving tiramisu. This one was perfect. Oh! We are not drinkers but I did start the meal with a Negroni, again, perfect. Beyond the food, the service was great, accommodating, friendly and perfectly timed. The mood is cozy and warm. It was so great on a snowy evening. This meal was a week ago and we are both still talking about it. We have already planned to go back to order the bistecca."
