"I was craving a good grilled cheese sandwich and had seen this place one night while cruising around downtown.Called my friend, made her rally for a grilled cheese sandwich and some tomato soup. It's a small little place across from the shorebreak hotel. That's our favorite hotel to go hang out at their fire pits at night on a weekend. Their dog friendly and I don't go anywhere without my dog so that's when I noticed this place, Grater Grilled Cheese.You can choose from a variety of grilled cheese combos, or you can put together your own. I chose to put together my own with arugula, caramelized onion, and avocado. I did not want to go overboard but I was really craving a grilled cheese sandwich with caramelized onions and had to make it healthy by adding arugula and avocado LOLMy friend ordered the lobster grilled cheese, we shared a tomato soup, and we also shared a small Mac and cheese. The pricing was good. And the food was awesome! The grilled cheese sandwiches totally hit the spot! They grill the bread, but not too greasy. I hate it when places toast bread for a grilled cheese sandwich. It's called grilled cheese for a reason. Grill my damn bread LOLI also hate it when grilled cheese sandwiches are melted. Our cheese was oozing out of our sandwiches exactly how we imagined! I loved mine and my friend loved her lobster grilled cheese as well. The mac and cheese was good and the tomato soup was perfect. It was the first day of having cooler temperatures so it was the perfect day for grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, and tomato soup! We sat outside on the sidewalk tables and enjoyed the ocean view and people watching. My friend and I both agreed, and so did my dog Waffles, we are definitely going to be regulars there for the upcoming fall and winter. That will give us a chance to try every damn sandwich and every combination we can think of Edwin came out from the kitchen, he was our grilled cheese chef that afternoon. We told him how amazing the sandwiches were and thanked him profusely. He was so nice!Highly highly recommend this place, especially with cooler weather coming up! It's a quaint little place but it really hits the spot if you're looking for an amazing grilled cheese sandwich!"
