"Very good Ciopino dish. Service was good. Inside dining can be very loud but outdoor seating is very nice."

"We ate at Cafe on the Green in Danbury to take advantage of a dining special with a limited choice of entrees. The special included salad and dessert. Our four entrees were very good two had the Shrimp Scampi with Linguine, and two had the Eggplant Parmigiana. We also had several different desserts. The two who had carrot cake said it was excellent with lots of fresh carrot and pineapple flavor. The creme brûlée was excellent also with a crunchy sugar crust and smooth creamy custard base. The cheesecake chosen by the other in our group was also deemed very good. All in all a great dinner at a tremendous price. Portions were a little smaller than regular dinner meals, but certainly large enough for our two men and two women. Certainly be back again"

"The food was ok. Too cluttered for me. The most annoying thing for me is that when I drink my wine it needs to be in a tall/long stem wine glass and they won't give you one unless you order a bottle! Then the waitress was rude to tell me it taste the same in the non stem glass... I wanted to slap her and say like do you drink water from a dog bowl or a bucket? Stfu... and the wine glass does make a difference also if it taste the same then why are you so hard on giving customers the long stem wine glass then ... hard pass on this place, well for me anyway!"

"i had a chance to go by Gio's Chicken Amalfitano's with some friends, and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant, the waitresses were friendly and the food was excellent. We had a really good time and before we left we have some gelato I had mango) which was very tasty. Kudos to Gio's"

"Honestly the BEST Italian Ive ever had in this area! Had the classico sauce and truly the best sauce...not acidic and not sweet. The meatballs were so tender and the sausage as well. Now my favorite place!"

"We booked through OpenTable a few hours before we arrived but they had no record of our reservation and no available tables so they seated us at some small bistro sets they have near the front door. They seemed short handed with servers as there were only 2 and the restaurant was fully booked. They did the best they could and we weren't kept waiting too long. The bread was underbaked and raw in the middle. We pointed it out, they brought a fresh loaf over and it too was raw in the middle not a good sign. The food itself pesto gnocchi and lasagna were not any better than we could have made at home. Dessert (Chocolate Mousse Cake) was good and wine list was good too, but there are better options in the area. We will not be returning."
"This family-owned restaurant is a hidden treasure in the Estero area. It can get noisy during peak season, but if you're able to secure an outdoor table on a pleasant evening, you'll truly appreciate this dining experience."
