"We were craving Italian food so we figured we'd give Aversano's a try. Ordered a Moscow mule and got a glass of vodka over ice in a mule mug, yuck! Ordered small Sicilian pizza, and classic spaghetti w/ meatballs. Wifey ordered chicken parm. The only food that tasted somewhat good to us was the side salad that came with the meal. The spaghetti, and chicken parm dishes were bland, bland, bland. No seasoning in the sauce and the meatballs were made mostly with breadcrumbs so they were really mushy and flavorless. Overall the place is pretty grungy and the air conditioning wasn't working so it was miserably hot inside the restaurant. This $106 date night was a bust and we won't be returning again. The service was perfectly fine but everything else was pretty awful."
