"My friends and I were surprised it was pretty empty when we got there. The seating area has a nice vibe with the cherry blossoms around the booths and there's multiple TVs dotting the walls. Staff was super friendly too. First thing we tried were the sake margaritas; we all ordered a different flavor (peach, lychee, apple) and they were pretty good--the lychee one was the best. In terms of rolls I ordered the lemon roll. Sounds like an iffy combination but it works really well. The lemon is bright but not overpowering. It's an interesting concept! I can see myself returning for another great time."

"Fabulous. Have been going there at least once a week since 1984. some weeks 3 times a week. That is 30 years. Total of 1500+ visits. Does that tell you how much I like the place? Best sushi in town. Not Americanized sushi. Extremely traditional. If you like California inspired fancy rolls, this is not for you. Always very fresh fish and healthy portions. because of their high turnover of customers. Always packed."

"waited 15 minutes on the thru loudspeaker runner until I was recognized. then lasted 20 minutes for eating. I saw 2 people from the grill place and 1 cash at the drive thru window. got home (3 minutes later) and the food (fish and kokos garnelen, fritten) were filled into a too small box. most pommes and both fish pieces had to dig out to find the garnels. everything was cooked. only what was tasty was my soda and the cole Slav. very bad experience. never again."

"The Chingon Roll was good but the outside tasted stale. California Roll were eh. For the price Id expect better."
