"Oh man — we were completely blown away with this restaurant. We just saw this while walking around the area, not knowing what to expect. We were just really craving for Japanese food. Needless to say, we are SO happy we chose this restaurant for dinner. The prices were surprisingly wallet-friendly, given the freshness and quality of the food. Each bite was just SO GOOD. The service was very fast, and the server was so friendly and accommodating. I honestly can’t think of anything bad about this restaurant. I can’t wait to eat here again!"

Frozen beverage machine is only at the weekend. the manager told us she didn't have a personal. menu for pool was very limited, and not available for the display on the website. eating was not very good. from sparkling rose by the pool and not in the location, no drinks on pool menu order. we were not charged for the poolpass as a result, but would have planned differently if we knew their limited situation. it felt as if they are really not set up to offer this experience as it is released online. the pool area is beautiful and this part we enjoyed."

"Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. The food served was perfectly created and each of four different requests were thoroughly enjoyed."

"Eat for the first time in this place. The food was great. The cook seemed a little hurry. My only complaint was that our seats on the Hibachi side were extremely close together, so it sat a little unpleasant beside strangers. Usually it's not a big deal. Also we must have gone during an early bird special because our bill was super cheap. Overall, we were very happy with our anniversary dinner."

"We have a really big Running/Walking Group and just finished a race. We were looking for a place that could handle a group our size, on a Saturday, with an outside seating area (we were pretty active in that race Shoal Creek has a great enclosed/outdoor seating area. We were able to use that without disturbing their regular Brunch guests. First the accommodations: 5 star The Managers (Valerie Trey) were very kind and helpful. We had been turned away from a few places because they didn't have an outdoor space and couldn't fit a group our size. Valerie Trey never even blinked. They said of course and just come by and we will take care of you, and they didn't disappoint. Wait Staff: 5 Star Micaiah Hannah B were there for us without being intrusive, professional and attentive, just all around wonderful. We will be back in August and hope we have them as out wait staff again. Food: We ordered from the Brunch menu (see pic) but they have the full menu as well. The food was perfectly prepared (my complements to the Chef). It was so delicious, everyone just kept saying how good it was. This will be a regular place for us now, we feel like they are part of our Group. Thank you Shoal Creek for a great Brunch!"

"Breakfast is usually pretty good but anything else might not be. I guess it depends on the chef or just quality of food. With a menu that large, I’m sure it’s difficult to deliver fresh quality food all the way around. I ordered a burger and it definitely tasted frozen and it was dryer than a desert. The lettuce was old and wilted. Really unappealing. The sweet potato fries were greasy and tasted old. Overall I just couldn’t eat it. My wife got a blt which was a bit better but still not great."
