"When my daughter graduated from college, we decided to try some place further outside our normal southeast Valley area and chose Mora, partially because of chef Scott Conant (now owned by Beau MacMillan). We were greeted warmly when we first arrived and our waiter Jacob came to our table immediately. He noted we were celebrating and let us know we'd be getting a special dessert! We started off with wine and the meatball appetizer. With 4 of us, Jacob had them add an additional meatball so we could all have one. They were tender, a little spicy and the couscous underneath was perfect. One daughter ordered a pizza, which she loved. I ordered the tagliatelle and my other daughter ordered a pasta as well. All serving sizes were large, but not overwhelming. The pastas were delicious and we were happy to have some to take home. Hubby ordered the pork chop which was really well seasoned. Only issue was and he admits he should have said something was it was a little dry inside, but he ate it all up! Our special dessert was a red velvet stacked cake that was very good. We decided this might definitely be a place to go for special meals from now on, even though it's further from our home than we normally go. It is, however, close to my office so that should make it easier"
