"good time good food! my fianced and I have been showing up for our reservation at 18:00 clock and decided to take a place in most full cash. the energy on site was positiw and lively on a Saturday evening, with many friends and couples eating, drinking and talking. good mood overall. the bartender welcomed us quite quickly and produced too solid martinis. soon after we ordered dinner. I have the short rib pasta and she had that huh. the pasta was well prepared with decent aromen. not sure that I would get it again, but that says more about my mood taste than is about the quality of the plate pretty good. the chicken was very crispy on the outside, but juicy and tender on the inside (hard to do, right, imo). the court came with potatoes and roasted vegetables, all very well prepared. I'll get the court next time (or the sirloin steak). the point is, we will be back. solid choice on salem’s main road and probably a go forward for us (we live in the beverly area)."

"One of the finer restaurants in Tacoma. The wine selection is extensive which ranges from Old to new world reds to a unique selection of dessert wines. The servers are knowledgeable about the drink selections and the food. At the end of our dinner we wanted to order a dessert wine but did not know where to start. The server immediately brought over 5 bottles for us to taste and gave us explanation of each one. Service is more than just bringing a customer food and cleaning up after them. It includes being knowledgeable about the products that the restaurant carries. Highly recommend this location for wine enthusiasts, finer dining enthusiasts and those looking for excellent service."

"more people should talk about the fantastic fish chips (small fish with a horny crust and delicious dillfries) here some of the best I had in seattle. oysters are a great deal on happy hour, and the poutins of the sea met all the right notes easily, pfeffer chowder, tasteful mushes and crispy pommes. beautiful beer, wine and cocktail selections. fantastic, relaxed environment with views of the marina. hard to go wrong here. they are (of course) busy during the terrace weather, but we were quickly served and supervised. that could be a habit."

"our carrot and Brussels sprouts were good, the ducks were just in order. my risotto was under cooked and without taste. our server seemed distracted and almost rude, my stepmother asked for a weeping list and he put it at the opposite end of the table and simply took the cocktail orders. the restaurant was not busy, nor were we slow during the order. When our first drinks arrived and we finished early during the meal, we were never asked if we wanted another drink. I couldn't find our waiter to even fly him down. all this can be attributed to an off-night bc, which we enjoyed here before and overall the experience. However, another server seemed to do with his tables a big job when the owner/boss came out and screamed before us all to him because he had not heard the bell to eat something. I have worked in restaurants and understood the meaning of each chipping to keep the restaurant running efficiently, but for the chef to scream on a server in the middle of a dining room until I heard that it is so tasteless. especially when this boss seemed to drink only her glass red wine. I can forgive almost everything in a restaurant, but not respectful."

"They were somewhat short staffed but you could hardly realize with how fast and attentive the service was. Really get a full in depth experience at this spot if you don't mind spending that little bit more. I used to work for the owners in their original restaurant years ago. I am glad to see them taking care of their people. So they can spread that care out further to the customer."

"we had a delicious group dinner on the terrace outside. the weather was cooler than expected, but they had a lot of heating. everything we tried was delicious. favorites were the shaking bark, cacio e pepe, Brussels spears and pot de crème. we're coming back!"
