"We enjoyed an excellent dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere were all above expectations. We paced ourselves, and were not rushed either to order or to exit. The mushroom appetizer was very good, although too salty. The side salad was a wonderful combination of texture and flavors. The duck was good, although probably the weakest part of our dinner. The chocolate torte to finish was marvelous, although too late in the evening to enjoy a cup of coffee with it. The atmosphere in the basement is very nice, with the massive wood beams doing an excellent job of absorbing sounds from neighboring tables. This is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Greenville!"
