"We both had the Bentobox (1 chicken 1 salmon). The fog soup could have been a bit more tasteful (a bit diluted). We were happy with the portion sizes and the price was about right. The food was fresh and the quality was very good. We were very happy that the entire staff was masked. They were also very friendly and attentive."

"Been coming here ever since I moved to the city. The service is great and the food always hits the spot after a long day at work. They have great options if you plan on getting larger orders for parties. Also when it comes to portion size per price, these guys go over the top with it and I love it!"

"My boyfriend and I were thrilled to support a local business around here, especially with all of the wonderful reviews. I asked the hostess for their best dish and she gave me the garlic chili chicken and we also ordered the BBQ chicken with lo Mein and egg flower soup. I’m very sad to report that nearly every item was a disappointment. Chicken was overcooked, bland and tasted like it was old food that was refried from a previous order or day. Egg flower soup tasted like hard boiled egg water with eggs floating in it and the bbq chicken was slimy and tasted not fresh. We were both pretty grossed out.We don’t enjoy complaining and this is my first review on here, but I feel like maybe the owner would see this and feel compelled to honor people’s money for what they’re exchanging."

"I ordered an orange chicken to take off. It's GOOOOD! I eat it as I write this review. It's not too sweet or artificial orange. It has a nice kick. The dough is just the right amount, unlike some other Chinese, where the meat is almost not present than if you eat a fried cake instead of the meat. The chicken is tender and moist. Not dry. Also love the fact that they have a good amount of sauce so that it does not dry out, but not too much that the meat drowns or swim in the sauce. I look forward to trying out their other dishes. (Photo is a little nasty because the chicken is hotly hydrated)"

"If I could give zero stars I would. Some of the most flavorless, dried out chinese food we've ever had. Sweet and sour chicken had hardly any chicken, was all batter, same with chicken lo mein, fried rice was dry and pitiful. Will never order their food again. "I've tried a ton of Chinese restaurants in Columbus, this has been my favorite for 20 years. Best egg rolls in the city, hands down. Friendly fast service. Authentic (I've been to China HK many times) and always delivers. I even like their Chop Suey, which is usually not a stellar dish, but they execute it very well. General Tso vegetable is my go-to dish, quite good. Only downside is that the recipe recently changed, and they add pepper flakes instead of the whole hot peppers. Still good, but I prefer to choose when to get a roasting hot mouth when eating General Tso, and not have a hot dish the whole way through. Chinese vegetable soup is quite nice, as is the wor dip har and wor sue upp."

"Food is AMAZING! You have a large gluten-free menu and it is very easy to order. The bathrooms are clean, the restaurant is very clean. The staff is very careful with cross-contamination for gluten-containing items, they wash their pans before cooking my food. The prices are reasonable and the person who took my order gave me a cheaper option for the same food and showed me the voucher on the back for a free spring roll."

"Tasty Thai dishes! Best I have ever had from takeout. Fresh veggies and full of flavor. Over the past year, I have tried all the Thai vegetarian options and several of the seafood as well. I am a foodie and believe Golden Empire is a terrific place for reliable, fresh, and satisfying takeout. Very easy to order online. "Good food, good portions, good price. The place is dumpy. Not unclean, but dumpy and crowded. Has an ATM. Quick in, quick out. Call ahead is best experience. No ambience, just take out. Don't over think this one. No conversation. Point to menu item. Grab and go. Oh, haven't seen chopsticks. But that might be the speed that I'm out the door.
