"Visited for Valentine's Day and tried the set menu, a four course meal consisting of lobster salad, a mushroom and rice soup, sea bass and scalloped potatoes, and dessert. Everything was pretty good and the portions were generous, which is not always true for a fixed price meal. It was definitely pricey though (thanks in part to the Valentine's Day markup). The main course (especially the potatoes) was the best part! I do enjoy set menus because I don't have to make as many decisions . The service was good, the server brought us hot water when we asked, which was very welcome because it was a freezing night and we were outside. The portable heat lamps they had were not very powerful and I would have preferred the type that are overheard (and larger and have a higher range). It's San Francisco after all, I feel like it's often cold enough for good heat lamps outside!I am a big dessert person and I was a little disappointed by the churros. They were not as fresh and hot as I've had at other places and that would have been a huge improvement. Probably because it's a set menu and they were prepared ahead of time but for $79 a meal (before tax and tip) I would like every part to be on point. All that being said I would come back to try their normal food not on a holiday with a set menu!"
