"came here to breakfast on Saturday afternoon at 15 o'clock. the tables in the inner were filled with people, but there were tables open in the back terrace that was shaded and has a beautiful brise on a hot summer day. the service was great, although the restaurant was busy. the waffel remained crispy after he sat on my teller for a long, big dough! the hashbrown is a must-have here. we ate everything on our tellers."

"The service and staff were excellent but unfortunately the food was not up to par. I did not experience the promised bursting with flavor farm to table taste difference. I was disappointed that my chicken entree was just a tough flattened breast covered with a gravy like tasteless demi glaze! The root veggie along with that was a blah brocollini. I then requested some other vegetables like carrots and brussels sprouts but I did not want them cooked with confit/fat so they just brought me steamed veggies which were very tasteless. I’ve made steamed vegetables at home that had so much more flavor than these. That evening we were practically the only ones dining in this place that has a rather large capacity. I might considering giving them time to get their act together and maybe get a new chef with better recipes along with a new farm and then going back on a later date. It is right in my neighborhood so it would be a shame if this place cannot improve."

"Today was my first time going to hard Knox on 3rd st, but it will not be my last the food is just like your momma, or your grandmama made when you were coming up . I ordered 2 orders of turkey wings, black eye peas over rice, collard greens. With two corn muffins. And I ordered, the other I ordered with Mac and cheese. I must say WOW!!!! I thought my mom was in the kitchen. Very good meal I will be back.Mildred Dureso-wiley"

"Excellent service for parents lugging around their kid, lol! After traveling across the country and a stay at the Hilton we are beyond fortunate and blessed to have such great staff at this bar/restaurant. Food is tasty. The beers are chilled perfectly. And the staff is exceptionally attentive. We had a fussy baby and they offered her a high chair without us even asking for one and sanitized the chair. Tell me that is not above and beyond white glove service! I recommend especially for parents who are stressed lol. I plan on going here every evening to this restaurant for drinks until we check out!"
