"I love Britts...when in the neighborhood, i always do at least one takeout meal for at least 2 people, that must include cornbread! Well, that 's the only rub here that I asked a question, and have never gotten an answer. So, I ask the folks at Britt 's, did you stop putting the corn in the corn bread? Something about the little bit of carmelization of the corn, which I assume has to be from giant can of corn from Restaurant Depot or other supplier . . . which just adds distinct level of added effort....and that became the hangover after-meal dessert you always wished was more for breakfast the next morning....until there was not more corn?! I asked, no comment. Maybe it cost more....but I am paying $70.00 $90.00 with well deserved and generous 20% gratuity (for takeout)....and telling everyone flying in/out of LAX you have to stop at Briit 's , because it makes you feel like you are not in LA for a moment, you are near home , wherever that place is....Briit 's team probably reading this and thinking how mean this review is....and to me, asking for what we found to be especially nice meal ending, may just be a bit corny."
