"Service was excellent from our server. Food seemed overpriced. For example, a mid sized market greens salad (toasted pine nuts, shaved radish, caper berries, torn croutons, pecorino romano, red wine vinaigrette) is $15. To add a protein of chicken, salmon or skirt steak it runs between $9-16 in addition, for what looked like a 4 oz portion. And the salad was just ok. You can get a better salad at FlowerChild, LGO or Wildflower for less than half that. While I realize this is a full service dining experience, the star of the show should be the food and it should be just as good or better than a counter service food and beverage establishment IMO. Also of note was the iced tea was over brewed, way too strong and bitter and the color of coffee. We choked down half and added water to the other half to try to rebalance it but the damage was irreparable. We ordered dessert. It was a olive oil lemon cake. It apparently wasn’t stored properly. It was ice cold, not frozen but hard as a rock. Could barely get a fork through it, very dry and lacked flavor. Ice cream accompaniment had a lot of lavender in it which wasn’t described by server, not a personal favorite. Like eating a bath bomb. Parking is a mystery, no one stationed out front of hotel or restaurant entrances at 12 noon. Hostess was sitting down on iPad behind podium inside restaurant. Not a very polished greeting for a restaurant of this supposed caliber and price. We ended up parking down the block. Overall, I would not go back. Nothing special. Value of experience does not translate to the amount charged."
