"Was away with the husband on a getaway and this is one of the newer places in town. Small modern flare on the inside, a mix of Italian, American and oddly Japanese foods with reservations available which I would make those in the summer. Bathrooms are modern and clean up front. Looks like there is the opportunity to sit outside. The first impression was of the hostess team we had on the weekend in the evening and they seemed distracted and annoyed, however it was a little chaotic up front when we put in our name. Regardless first impression is everything. Putting this up front as many might not be aware, but because they are next to a church they do not have liquor on site, they can only do wine infused drinks. I had the mule which was mostly ginger tasting, and my husband had the lemonade which was very sweet and would probably be better without the wine infusion. They are known for their pasta and if you are going to do any dish there do their fresh made pasta. The sauce is rich and not too acidic and fresh made pasta just has a vibe you can’t always describe. It is delicious and their meatballs were good. We also had modest sized portions of the steak dinner and the beef ribs and I will say the beef ribs were tender and delicious, over whipped mashed potatoes. The veggies were mixed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots and honestly were not the best part as they seemed like I could make it at home. I was expecting more sautéed then steamed for a dish like that. However the beef and potato’s with the gravy were on point and the food was super hot. The steak is not something I would recommend until they figure out how to tenderize it. It was tough even at medium and tho I am not ever expecting steak house quality at an Italian fusion restaurant I do want to see some effort made towards steaks which are expensive. And if you like the taste of Worcestershire sauce then that may be for you but it was too prominent for me and frankly I think made the dish worse. The truffle fries that came with it were crispy and Parmesan crusted and probably the best part of the dish. Service for us was slow for us compared to others and I think it was because we had more of the complex dishes, versus the burgers and other pasta dishes I saw going out which looked good on the plates. They have sushi too which the locals have their own opinion about but the sushi rolls looked massive. The waitress that served us looked about as annoyed as the hostesses upfront but she lightened up by the middle of our experience. Dessert was their bread pudding and I suggest you do not get that to go like we did because it was a runny mess by the time we dug into it. Get it there. Would we go back? Maybe for the pasta and beef ribs, but everything else would be a pass for now."
