"Chalk it up to the kitchen staff where all this food originates!!I’m a local and have frequented this tavern many times and enjoyed delicious meals but todays visit was lacking on a few levels.The chicken Parmesan cutlet was substantial but lacked seasoning and the spaghetti was average, reheated and sub par. 16)The cheesesteak lacked taste, asked for cheese and noticed none. 11)A couple of pieces of cheese would have made ALL the difference.The salad was fresh and topped with a nice assortment.The most disappointing was the greasy, boxed, frozen shrimp, over sauced Cole slaw and those French fries were mediocre, frozen and over fried and first time in years I added salt to my fries. 14)I would rather have 4 FRESH Battered SHRIMP than 9 over breaded mini variety.It’s the sign of the times when bars and taverns have to cut costs somewhere and food instead of alcohol always gets the short end of the stick.They present a menu that folks can stop in and dine out within the budget although the prices do not reflect quality of foodBeer is king here!"
