"Been waiting a while to try this famous Tiki Bar and it did not disappoint! Lindsay (spelling? Out bartender was both skilled and smart! She helped us pick from the extensive menu (even though we are well-versed in cocktails and tiki flavor, there was A LOT and was kind enough to customize our experience with extra spirit-nerd explanations. The food (Kahlua pork, pickled egg, mac salad was way above average and the pork especially rivaled actual Hawaiian beach luaus we've attended. Highly recommend this place! Be ready to wait a bit if you have a larger party, but I promise it is worth it!"

"We had a roof terrace reservation and sat immediately. For a starter we shared the Maple Bacon Crullers. The crossers were light and had a sweet cinnamon butter taste, which was a great base for the maple frozen and bacon above. Our Entrees were the Black Sheep Club with Pommes and (2) steak and eggs. The club sandwich was huge, but my daughter enjoyed every bite. Our steaks and eggs were cooked and perfectly seasoned. The captivating potatoes were delicious from the softening of the Buerre Rouge. Every part of our culinary experience here was excellent. The ambience, food and service will be back soon."

"I have the two meat combo plates and both were pretty delicious. Mac and cheese and Coleslaw were also good. Order inside at the counter, find a table inside or outside and they will supply your food to you. A variety of hot sauces inside to taste with cups to take back to your table. "Wonderful experience. Food was excellent, service was great despite being packed. Party of 2, no reservation but was seated fast. The lasagna was delicious and very filling, one of the best I've had with a Latin spin on it; mashed potato layer which stayed hot so definitely let it cool down between bites. Delicious, I've never had a lasagna like it but it left me wanting more. The Queen Cream Cheese soup was also excellent, cheesie and had chicken; also very unique dish but delicious. The Spaghetti with Shrimp was also very delicious. The tiramisu was also one of the best I've had, delicious. The server and bus girl were very attentive. Restaurant had a very nice family-oriented atmosphere, excellent service and exceptional food. Menu had a lot to choose from. I will definitely be coming back to this gem. Thank you to everyone at Montecatinj for the amazing experience!Kid-friendliness: A lot of birthdays going on when we went, a few children's birthdays. "Pork Chunks Appetizer was delicious. Shredded Beef tasted good, but was not so tender and the portion was extremely small. The Mojito TO GO !! was delicious, but advertised for 4-5 people and is actually 2. I was not impressed with the Beef Empanada Appetizer. Overall, I would order the pork chunks again."
