"When the food arrived, it was a mixed bag. Some dishes were good, while others were just okay—not nearly as impressive as my previous takeout experience. Then, something unfortunate happened: one of the servers accidentally spilled hot water on my pants and coat while attempting to refill my water, despite my request for cold water. I understood it was a mistake, so I reassured the server that it was alright. Another server brought over extra napkins, but that was the extent of the response.
What surprised me was that no one offered an apology for the incident. The staff seemed visibly uncomfortable and avoided making eye contact with me, continuing to bring more napkins instead of addressing the situation. At the end of our meal, the oldest server simply gestured to ask if we were ready for the check.
Having worked in a sushi restaurant during college, I understand that servers can feel shy or flustered. However, when a hot liquid spills on a customer, professionalism and empathy should take priority. This experience revealed the true character of the restaurant, and despite its apparent popularity, I can no longer recommend it to anyone."
