"I am taken aback by some of the negative ratings on Google for this restaurant. Personally, I think the walnut prawns, which some reviewers criticized, are actually delicious despite being a bit pricey. They are arguably one of the best dishes on the menu. The black mushroom beef, orange chicken, and chow mein are all definitely worth trying. However, I would recommend avoiding the pre-made egg rolls."

"TL;DR: Wrong order, poor service, long wait time, hidden 20% surcharge We used to love Serai and dined here frequently, and I usually do not post negative reviews. While the food was still delicious, our last experience at Serai was quite disappointing. 1) It took them 45 minutes after we placed our order to receive our food. Other tables that were seated after us received their food much more quickly. 2) Ordering food was a hassle. We ordered the sambal eggplant (one of our old favorites) and rendang shrimp. We received a shrimp dish which we thought was our rendang shrimp and after confirming with the server that it was rendang shrimp. But after eating it, we realized it was sambal shrimp. We sent it back with half a plate full so we could receive our sambal eggplant and the server said he would “fix it right away”. The eggplant never came, and we were charged for it. When we tried to get the charge removed, the server replied “well you ate it”. 3) Without telling you on their menu or website, they tack on a 20% service surcharge when you get your bill. With the long wait time, wrong food, getting charged for a dish we didn’t eat, and the 20% automatic surcharge, our favorite Malaysian restaurant sadly has now become a place we will not visit again."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant when I visited around 3 pm on a Friday. It was not busy, and the food came out quickly and hot. I ordered Pad Thai and Panang Curry, which you can customize the level of heat from 1-5. I enjoy spicy food, so I chose level 3. It had a good level of spice that complemented the flavors without overpowering them. Next time, I will try level 4 and update my review. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Also, the Thai tea I ordered was delicious."

"Fu Lin offers authentic Japanese ramen that truly impresses. Having lived in Japan for five years, I can confidently say that this is my Japanese wife's and my top choice for ramen in Seattle. The owner has extensive experience, having lived and worked in a ramen shop in Japan, so he really understands the craft. No matter which ramen you choose (they're all delicious), be sure to also try the gyoza, which is served in a paper style. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable!"

"Bland, boring and overpriced... but it was right next to my hotel, so there is this.. Also super small amount of food for the price. I ordered (2 Chicken Chow mine and (1 Potsticker to go. My sum was $53.50 after taxes and tips for a lunch bag. All the time on foot back to my hotel room, I swore I was missing something to mine when I opened the bag... but sad, no... it was all there, just too expensive. (I gave the service and the atmosphere as 3 stars when it was Takeout, so I can't really judge about these topics"

"Great service. Friendly people. I got Pad Thai with Tofu and Thai Tea. The Thai Tea was excellent in my opinion. I got it with less ice. The Pad Thai had a little bit of tangy flavor er, just a little too much of the tangy flavor for my personal taste. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Let me add, if I wanted a cold drink: I love a very good intensely sugary Thai Tea, so I would come here again and again for the Thai Tea. The Thai tea is what made this review go from 3 to 4 stars. The pad Thai is okay and 3 stars."

"I recently ordered from here. The food is very good , and very reasonably priced. They use fresh ingriedients and the beef in the broccoli dish is very tender. There were lots of won tons in my soup and the broth has a lot of flavor to it, not watered down. I have always been greeted with friendly service over the phone and in person. Thank you. OH and the egg rolls were delicious, crispy but not overdone. I had an extra one left over for the next day and still crispy after coming out of the microwave. :"
